The journey of crafting this movie's story has been a labor of love for me, running parallel to many other series I have running that has already made its mark. While these creative endeavors are a personal outlet and a source of enjoyment for anyone who engages with them, it's essential to recognize that I approach them with utmost dedication, akin to a professional endeavor. In case a specific song is not listed for the character, feel free to attach a segment of you singing a song of your choice as part of your audition. For those of you who are inclined towards the character's speaking voice only, kindly send in the audition lines exclusively. Plot
The story revolves around Theodora, a transgender girl who receives an acceptance letter to the esteemed Britechester University, a renowned institution specializing in the arts. However, a noticeable shift has occurred—she no longer possesses the driving motivations that led her to audition for the school during her junior year of high school. The fervor for singing that once burned within her has dwindled to a mere ember.
Two significant catalysts prompted her initial decision to audition for the school's glee program. First, the magnetic allure of Reno Jackson, the former glee club president who transitioned into an accomplished actor. Second, the poignant memory of her father, who tragically lost his life in a recent traffic accident. The bond they shared through music, as he himself was a wandering musician, was now a bittersweet reminder. The pain of performing without him by her side was too much to bear, leading Theodora to forsake singing and music entirely.
As she sets foot on the campus for her inaugural day, Theodora perceives a stark contrast between the grandeur she had once heard in rumors and the current reality of the school. This transformation can be attributed, in part, to the appointment of a new Dean. The Dean believes that the institution has strayed from its academic core due to its emphasis on the arts. This has ignited a push towards a new direction, one that prioritizes academic achievements over artistic endeavors.
Amidst this backdrop of change and uncertainty, Theodora finds herself faced with a compelling challenge. Can she step up to salvage the future of the glee program, whose fate hangs in the balance? Will she overcome the looming specter of her past and reignite her passion for singing, potentially reshaping the trajectory of the program? Or will the shadow of her father's absence keep her from embracing her artistic calling and realizing her true potential?
