Animated Dreams
Project Overview
Animated Dreams is an original horror project based around cutesy classic-style cartoon characters exploring surreal locations and discovering nothing is what it seems.
At the moment, I am unsure whether this project should be an animation, comic, ARG or what, but I would love having character voices I can use.
Project is currently listed as "deferred", because I will be letting the individual actors choose whether they want to be paid or do it for free, and how much they want to pay for it on their own.
More characters will be added later.

Deadline has been extended a month
Exactly what the title says. Now it's set for December 19th instead of November.

Status changed from "unpaid" to "deferred"
I decided to make it so that each actor can decide individually whether they want to be paid for this project or do it for free, and everyone can charge their own price, that way I'll be more open to a wider variety of talent.

A lamb from a cutesy barnyard-themed setting. She acts cute and playful in public, but her true self is a bratty short-tempered misanthropic psychopath with a more perverted adult side.
She has a high bleating voice, like an actual sheep if it could talk.
La la laaa la laaa...oh boy, a new friend! (giggles)
Grrrr, I'll get you for this! (angry bleating)

A mysterious inkblot toon lemur who is a trickster with strange magical powers.
His voice is handsome, optimistic and charismatic, but with a bit of mystery to him, like he's not quite what he seems.
(chuckles) All I want is to have fun. Come with me, and I'll show you all sorts of sights you'll never forget!
I know all sorts of forbidden magic, my friend. I can teach you what I know if you really want...

A stuffed toy tanuki who was magically brought to life, and is in complete denial about ever being a toy.
Her voice is cute, innocent, naive and dopey.
(chuckles) I'm not a toy! I may be all stuffy and fluffy, but I'm just as real as you are.
I'm not a fox or a raccoon. I'm just Koko.
Oh dear...one of my arms fell off again. Can you help me sew it back on?

A British human girl who started out live-action, but transformed into a toon bee girl.
Her voice is youthful-sounding, with a subtle British accent that fades as the story progresses.
(sighs) Daddy never allows me to do any of the things I want to do.
Goodness...I have wings? And antennae?
This place is stupid! I'm going home!

Beatrice's father, who starts out live-action like his daughter, and is initially stern but caring, only to transform into a tengu-themed Dastardly Whiplash-style cartoon villain.
His voice is very loud and hammy, with a mix of American and British accents, something like Hans Conried meets Terry-Thomas.
(sighs) What am I ever going to do with that girl, Selk? She must learn to RESPECT AUTHORITY!
Beatrice, my dear...I am going to take you back home, EVEN IF I HAVE TO LOCK YOU UP!
(crying) All I want is to respect the memory of my DEAR late mother!

Lord Terrence's bumbling but well-meaning assistant, who is transformed into a cartoon walrus, and acts as a down-to-earth foil to his hot-headed master.
He speaks with a nasally Irish accent.
Calm down, m'lord...you're losing yer' temper again!
You know, maybe we should just let Beatrice go on and live her own life. The lass seems quite happy.

A sexy anthro unicorn from a toyline aimed at young girls. She's a selfish narcissist who speaks primarily via telepathy with her horn, and she gets extremely violent whenever anyone turns down her romantic advances.
She has a feisty, sassy-sounding voice that gets more aggressive as she loses her temper.
It's me, Sparklehorn! The greatest and most beautiful unicorn in the world! (giggles)
What's the matter, Ody? Is my body not good enough for you?
I can't believe Ody would rather be with those other girls over me! I'll show him who's the best girl out there!

A disturbingly insane kasa-obake who likes to play violent games with his "friends".
His voice is kooky and cartoonish to fit his deranged personality, and he's constantly laughing insanely. I imagine taking influence from both Ed Wynn and Alan Sues.
(laughs) Why the long face, Koko? Don't you want to play? (laughs)
(improvise whatever kind of dialogue you think fits his playfully violent and insane personality)
