Project Overview
2Talltales is an UNDERTALE inspired alternative universe. It was originally going to be a comic, but over time, we have decided to turn 2TT into an animation series.
2Talltales was created in 2016 between Tanu and Chinchi of TheNobles.
The story starts off being centered around the human character, Frisk. Frisk finds themselves in an unpredictable situation in which the monster world rests on their shoulders. The first encounter they have is with a concerned father, named Gaster. Gaster briefly explains that his home has been torn into two seperate dimensions and needs to reunite them again. Once Frisk goes through either side; the story will shift in perspective from time to time in order to understand what has happened.
Even though we have some voice actors in mind, we would like to have some back ups or even potentionally find a better suited voice actor to fill in specific roles. You are welcomed to apply for more than one.
We ask that if you intend to apply to this project you have played UNDERTALE and have extensive knowledge of it. We can not currently offer/give an estimate for compensation for voice work. We hope you understand.Please do not share any personal information in your clips.
When auditioning, please make sure to do all 3 lines associated with the character's dialog in the different tones it states. You may attempt more than once. This helps us get an idea for the range you can do.
Furthermore, you must be 18 years of age or older to apply to any character. If you are not 18 years of age or older, you will be automatically denied.Please do not use any special effects in your voice when applying - you will be automatically denied.Also, please note that we require voice actors to adhere to editing guidelines and do the editing on their end. You will likely need to use an audio editing program such as Audacity.
We are really looking for someone who is capable of shifting/showing emotion through their voice. We also ask that if you do get picked for a part that you withhold any information about the series or your part in it until it is released fully to the public to avoid spoilage. You must be willing to meet deadlines and have good communication skills.We have the right to deny / drop / break our contract with you at any time without reason.
Please note it could be some time before we're able to come to a conclusion regarding an audition. We won't reply to your audition unless we see fit to and it'll be either accepted or denied without much of a reason. Mountain is the eldest brother.
He has a more gangster / slang / gruff voice. Yet feel free to experiement!
He also likes Karoke...so you might be required to sing at some point.

Pipe is the 2nd older brother.
We imagine him as a very calm/ soft spoken type of character. Please try to avoid the normal Papyrus voice if possible!
Heads up: we expect to maybe have Pipe sing a solo at some point in the series.

Gaster is the four skeleton's father.
He is a very smooth / proper / elegant speaker.
Note: Not looking for a whispearing / ghost-like / super mysterious voice. Basically, avoid the common Gaster voices if possible.

Chara will be an entity that follows Frisk around.
He is an absolute sweetheart and has a very gentle / brother-like voice.

Flowey usually is with Cherry.
Flowey is usually on edge / nervous. He tries his best to not be involved in situations, but gets dragged in anyhow.

Zipper is a friend of Cherry's.
Very adventurous / sweet / hyper kid. Easily distracted.

Grillby is a highly respected resturant owner.
He has a very father-like / business / elegant voice.

Fuka is Grillby's adopted daughter.
She is a bit older than Vanilla, but not by much.
Super kind and caring person.

She has a very strong voice.

Asgore is the king that rules the Underground.
He is very sweet / caring / easy to fool kind of person.
He has a very low gentle / kingly voice.

Undyne is the captian of the royal guard.
She cares for her people. The only one she has a slight issue with is a giant.
She has a very powerful / gruff voice when she speaks normally (Think of projecting your voice) ; but when she whispears or is in deep thought, it's slightly gentle.
Note: No Anime / neko girl / high pitch senpai looking girl voices. She ain't no girly girl.

Alphys is a royal scientist. She sounds younger than she is sometimes.
She is a very nervous type of character, but when it comes to something she loves / interested in; she'll have no problem talking about it.
Note: No super high pitch voices please! She can still sound hyper/excited.

Mettaton is a well known super star in the Underground.
Note: MTT will be required to sing for small future things. We are also looking for 3 voice actors for them who can do either a male-female-androgynous voices since they will be able to change their pitches.

Burger Pants works for Grillby at small stationed food carts across the underground.
He is your normal everyday teen just trying to get by and not upset his boss when they are around. Still mischievous and has his own secret side business.

" Hey bucko! If you don't want any of that expensive baloney, consider buying from yours truly!"

" Oh! Hey boss! Didn't see you there. Want a house special? heh."

Looking for someone who is willing to compose background music that brings the scenes to life; but is not going to be distractive against our voice actors. We would like the music to be similar to the original concepts of UNDERTALE, but with it's own twist. Or surprise us with your own ideas!
If you wish to participate you have to:
-Have Good Communication Skills
-Have more than 5 examples (Post at least one. In Comments, have a link to your other work)
-HQ Audio/Music Program
-Be willing to allow commercial usage (Will be discussed)
-Meet deadlines
BONUS:
-If you are able to write and help compose lyric based songs (This will be required to work with some of the voice actors)
