In the original: Hohenheim is very much an absentee father but for good reason. He's a strong man and does care about his family but has a greater calling to attend to.
In ours: He is not that. He just wants to adventure and have fun. His voice will be less deep than the show and more comical.
"She's lying! I'm abandoning yooou!"

"Oh yeah, kids. I forgot I have a few of those."
