"You can be whoever you want when you are behind the microphone."
Hi, my name is Nathan, and like many of you, I have an interest in improving at voice acting and learning how to better both my voice as well as the skills needed to back voice acting. Growing up, cartoons and animated features were a majority of what my family would let me watch. I was amazed at the range of voices a single voice actor could lend to a multitude of characters. Having a great voice and talent to morph your voice into anything is awesome to me, and friends and family have long said I have a strong baritone voice, so I started looking at places to start and this is where I landed.
Casting call club has introduced me to some wonderful people who share interests with me, and being able to work alongside other voice actors is both pleasant and motivating.
Right now, my set up consists of a converted corner of a closet lined with acoustic padding, alongside a AKG P220 Condenser Microphone hooked up to a Scarlett Solo which feeds into my Protools software. I have plenty of free time after my 8-4 weekday job, so there's plenty of time for any project that is offered.
I am also quick to pick up and practice new skills, be it a new program or if an accent is needed for a project. A fault of mine is that when I get started on learning something interesting, I have a hard time putting it down, so you know you'll be getting something great when asked for.
I hope you'll consider letting me work with you. A minute of work gives miles of experience, and I look forward to taking the drive with you.
Regards,
Nathan Moore
