Project Overview
GREETINGS EVERYONE!
Hi, I'm Aaron from Azure Moonlight Media Productions and welcome to this casting call auditions for the upcoming comic dub project, ZAWA + The Belly of the Beast. This comic dub was directed by me (director of Wynd), and based on the series created by Michael Dialynas.
WHAT IS ALL ABOUT?
Trapped for eternity inside her mountain by pollution-spewing factories, the ancient guardian spirit Zawa only has industrial run-off to eat, leading her to a bitter existence of paranoia and destruction. But when two siblings from a nearby village, Bandit and Thatcher, help her escape, they’ll quickly learn that the way to calm Zawa’s heart is through a well nourished stomach.
Aside from her cravings, the Mayor is planning for the Divine Feast around the city. As the Mountain begins into a wrecking havoc, Guardians will invade the whole entire city. Does the Guardians fighting with the others? Or is it to feed into their hearts, full of happiness? The adventure is about to be unfold in this mini-series to satisfy your cravings!
RULES BEFORE AUDITION
This casting call is open for everyone.
You must record your own voice in high quality. For best results, use an XLR or high quality microphones. Other recording devices like headsets with microphones, low quality microphones, and weak soundboard is not allowed.
Make sure to follow the emotions regarding to the comic. Click here to read carefully and practice first with your emotions so that it can give you deserves the best!
Please be guided to the deadline as indicated. Extensions will be provided.
And most of all, practice makes perfect!

(Making an announcement) OUR GUARDIAN HAS BLESSED US!! WITH GOOD NEWS! As you all know, there was an incident last night at the factory. But fret not, everything is peachy, the Divine Feast is upon us--and to add to the celebrations, I can now announce a wonderful deal with our neighboring islands. We have been chosen to help them out with their nutritious needs, and their representatives will arrive tonight to put pen to paper. AAAND our holy Mountain has blessed us with a beautiful gift to help the deal go through. A new energy drink to help BOOST production to the MAX! MESA'S DEW! Taste the mountain!
(Making EVIL plans) And for the biggest deal in the world! He he he. Who cares about the food when the real money is sourcing the Mountain's blood.
(Reassuring) Make sure the drilling doesn't stop, not even for a moment. We need to get as much of it as possible before the investors show up. Also, that FREAKY GUARDIAN is still on the loose... (Evil/Happy) ...and the last thing we need is to deal with another one.

Who am I? I am nothing but a remnant of old. WE ARE ZAWA. Together we protect this land. Humans had been poisoning us for so long, stealing our blood and keeping the connection with our home severed. Now that you are free, though, we can become whole again, like before.
(Tells the story about Zawa) We were born from the mountain--young and unaware of the dangers of this world, we lived free in her shadow. Until people arrived on our island, they tricked us with sweet and savory goods. Convincing us to let them stay. We were foolish to accept. Because after that, they never stopped building and building and building. Demanding even more from us as they spread like LOCUSTS. Tearing down our beautiful landscapes--and DESTROYING US in the process.
(Anxious) Exactly. Now keep walking, we're nearly there. They thought they had gotten rid of us. They schemed and lied about our disappearance. But the King underestimated us and thought he could just claim the island for himself. *chuckles* Hm hm hm. What a fool.

Others say she will be the end of us now that she is awake. I personally believe in our Guardian, and I say we march down to that rotten little man and get some ANSWERS! If you are with us, meet us at the gates!
(Protests arrived, attempting to open the gates) KNOCK KNOCK! I see you weird product protectors huddled up behind the gates! OPEN UP! He doesn't deserve your protection! We march for the betterment of our lives and for the truth he has been keeping from us! We are all citizens of MESA'S BOON here and we march on your behalf too!
