Sonnet - KPop Cover Group
Project Overview
Sonett is a Kpop cover vocal and dance group looking for more members! For more details on the group itself, we plan to release vocal and dance covers (and maybe some vocal and dance at the same time if any members want to do that.) We are based in New York and plan to release our covers on Youtube. We'll probably upload our covers with the same editing style as the Youtube channel B.U. We also have two sub-units for any members who are more confident in dancing or singing; Adagio, for members more confident in their singing, who will probably release some vocal only covers, and Concerto, for members who are more confident in their dancing, who will probably release some dance only covers, or alternatively, a combination of the two subunits, where the members in Concerto do a dance cover, while the members in Adagio do a vocal cover both of the same song. When you audition please leave a comment with your discord tag, and the subunit (if any) that you'd like to be.
What do I need to audition?
A discord account, and by that same note, to be older than 13. 16 or over is really the most ideal age, but if you're 13 and really talented, that’s okay.
Since we are also doing dance covers please be located in the NYC area, and note that you will have to dance to be in the main group, and potentially even if you're in the singing subunit if we do a large dance cover and need more members (obviously we wouldn't force anyone to do anything but we may ask.) We don't ask for anyone to audition for dancing, because we don't really judge by talent, this is for fun after all, if you want to dance you can dance, we don't judge.
Please also keep an eye on your Casting Call DM's, as if you don't attach your Discord tag to your audition and we want to select you, we will probably send you the discord link there!

A main vocalist. Either large vocal range or an ability to hit high notes is preferred. The better mic quality you have the more likely you are to be selected.

A main rapper. Quick rapping with precise pronounciation is the most ideal, but skill isn't the most important factor for the project. The better mic quality you have the more likely you are to be selected.

A quick rap, and preferably one in Korean since those are the songs will be covering is preferred.
A lead rapper. Typically does any other rap in a song. The better mic quality you have the more likely you are to be selected.

A sub vocal. A member who can sing or rap but leans toward singing, or alternatively a member who's not as confident in their talents. The better mic quality or unique of a vocal tone you have the more likely you are to be selected.
