Project Overview
WAITING... is a short story audio drama one-off project for fun. This one will focus on high quality background sounds and voice acting. This will be a very quick recording, as each character only has about a paragraph of lines. But it will all come together for a fun sci-fi story.
Each character is stuck in a sort of purgatory, an embodiment of one of well-known deadly sins. All they know is that they’re waiting at some sort of government office. They don’t know why, or for how long, but something seems...wrong. Will they get out?
Must be okay with swearing.

The lights flicker as if struggling to find a reason to stay alive in this miserable place, with numerous bulbs having already succumbed to their inevitable fate. Maybe they were the lucky ones.Why does every fucking government waiting room look like it was built by the lowest colorblind bidder in the 1960's, with a contractual clause that it never be updated or repaired in any way? Maybe they did careful research into what atmosphere makes time go slowest for its victims, some sort of sadistic Fuck Shui.
Ah. So there IS other life in the universe.
