Our rapidly expanding YouTube channel is seeking a talented Voice Over Artist with a strong passion for science fiction and a dynamic vocal range. If you have a genuine enthusiasm for the "Humanity, F*ck Yeah!" (HFY) genre and are eager to become an integral part of a thriving community, we invite you to join us. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to narrate gripping HFY stories, introduce them on camera, and possibly share in the channel's revenue as we grow together. Our channel currently attracts about 1 million views per month, offering a fantastic platform to showcase your voice to millions.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily voice recordings for videos, each lasting about 20-30 minutes.
Appear on camera for 10-second video intros to engage the audience and introduce the story, enhancing viewer connection.
Work closely with our team to bring stories to life in a way that resonates with our predominantly male, 50+ audience of sci-fi enthusiasts.
Show flexibility in your schedule and approach to accommodate varying video lengths and content types.
Engage actively with our team and community, contributing to the channel's growth and not just fulfilling job requirements.
Requirements:
Adult male or female voice.
Comfortable appearing on camera and engaging with an online audience.
Strong passion for sci-fi and familiarity with the HFY genre.
Wide vocal range and the ability to convey complex emotions and tones.
Previous experience in voice-over work, preferably with samples of narration in sci-fi or related genres.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrable interest and engagement in sci-fi communities, potentially with contributions to platforms like the r/HFY subreddit.
Understanding of YouTube content dynamics, audience engagement, and retention strategies.
