Project Overview
About
Twisted Wonderland is an “adventure/rhythm” JRPG created by Disney Japan and Aniplex. While the main story is fully voiced, the events are not. This is what we’ll be fandubbing.
The main story follows Yuu, an isekai’d teenager who has wound up in a world where the Disney villains were not just real historical figures, but beloved by the people of this strange new world. Stranded with no way home, Dire Crowley, the headmage of the prestigious Night Raven College, takes Yuu under his wing. Yuu attends classes at Night Raven Classes and befriends several other students while simultaneously being more or less forced by Crowley to solve all the rampant problems on campus.
The event stories center around major holidays and the crazy going-ons around campus.
About Our Group
Mirror Planes is a LGBTQ-friendly dub group whose sole project will be fandubbing Twisted Wonderland’s events. We will not be delving into the main story or birthdays, since those are voiced.
We communicate through Discord, so having one is mandatory. Please understand that although the game was released in Japan in 2020, it was just localized in January 2022. While we have a backlog of events to dub, please be aware that we are more or less dependent on EN’s releases and we may have some periods in the future where we’re waiting for new events. Also, every character is not necessarily in every single event, so you may have down periods from that.
Important Project Info
Audtionees do NOT have to sound like the original Japanese voice actors. I love hearing different vocal interpretations of characters. Although all of the open roles are of male characters, all genders are welcome to audition for these roles.
We ask that you give priority of characters of color to voice actors of color.
Due to the sheer size of the cast needed for some events, if you are cast, you will not be voicing just that character, but 1 or 2 mob character(s) as well.

Kalim's "best friend." Jamil's family has served Kalim's family for years and while Kalim considers Jamil like a brother, the feeling is not mutual. Jamil is one of if not the smartest character in the cast and the most talented. He wants to be in the spotlight and recognized for his skills. Jamil can be blunt if provoked, but is generally outwardly polite. He is also very protective and dotes on his younger sister, Najma. It takes him a while to trust others and thus while on good terms with most people, he doesn't have many real friends.

An elderly history professor. He's strict, a stickler for tradition, and many of the students are vaguely terrified of him. Despite his not-so-great reputation among students, he cares for them deeply and wants the best for them.

Trein is in very few events. If cast, you will also be voicing extras as needed.

Here we are, making a ridiculous spectacle out of a time-honored tradition. Some prestigious academy we are. It’s positively deplorable – all the moreso when the faculty is clearly excited about it.
Hurry to the classroom. Even one minute of tardiness is unacceptable.
The Student council President of Noble Bell College, another arcane high school, and the main antagonist of the in-game event Glorious Masquerade. Rollo is a rather cold person and to the point. After a traumatic experience as a child, he dislikes magic and fellow mages. He only shows real kindness to those who do NOT have magic. He believes he is always right and is willing to go to any lengths to get what he wants.

This character specifically will start recording in September or October. This event, Glorious Masquerade, has a part 2 that has yet to release, so until that rolls around to the English server, you'll also be voicing various extras when needed.
(To Yuu (a magicless person)) I don't know how you stand to be around them all of time. I can't imagine a worse place for you than Night Raven College
(Cold/a little unsettling; he's saying this in response to the others being weirded out he knows who they are) Oh, I know who you all are. I did my research on who was going to participate in the exchange student program.
A junior from Night Raven College's rival school, Royal Sword Academy. He's carefree, loves to troll, and generally causes mischief wherever he goes. Chenya is just a nice catboy who likes having fun. He's a childhood friend of Trey and Riddle.

This character does not show up in many events, so you will also be voicing extras.

Am I a cat? Am I a purrrson? A mimsy borogove, perhaps? A mome rath with a knack for magic?
(In response to hearing someone complain about Riddle) Riddle the teapot tyrant... Heh heh. Well, I can't dismiss that perspective as wrong. He's always been quite strict.
A very famous actor and influencer. He's very kind and loves helping people.
Neige doesn't show up in many events, so most of the time you'll be voicing extras in other events.
