To Be A Starlight: Minecraft RolePlay
Project Overview
About the Roleplay: It's Keira's senior year at high school. She was in online school for a year due to bullying and mistreatment, with her only friends being her siblings, her neighbor, and a close online friend, and now, she's returning to a public school. She has to face her social fears and stage fright, while also facing some old enemies in order to get through the year. Along the way, she'll meet people she'll never forget, and maybe even meet the friend she has behind the screen.
Rules for Auditioning:
#1: You MUST have Discord and leave your username and tag in your audition
#2: Voice actors must have a good quality microphone and be able to deliver lines on time
#3: Body actors need to be able to use 10+ mods on Minecraft Java or be able to learn how to do so
#4: For voice actors: try to use lots of emotion in your lines, depending on the situation in the script or audition; it'll bring out the character more!
#5: Remember, bloopers are okay! They make people laugh, which is awesome!
#6: Have as much fun as you can with this!

Keira is a kind and sweet girl. Though shy, she is very caring, and always puts others before herself. However, it is to a fault; she doesn’t consider her own emotions and happiness in the grand scheme of things. However, because of her own creativity and ability to make great ideas come to life, she’s able to keep going. Though, she does have a lot of past trauma due to bullying, mistreatment, learning disabilities, and depression and anxiety.

Jake is the loner of the school; he’s not very social and doesn’t find it easy to make friends. In fact, he goes out of his way to be the furthest away from big groups as possible. However, somehow, he continues to keep running into Keira. He treats her badly at first, but after learning about some of her issues, he ends up finding out he relates to her more than he could’ve thought. They end up becoming very good friends, and he does end up falling for her slowly.

Faye is a tomboy with a tendency to get annoyed really easily. She loves any and all sports, and is very competitive with most activities. However, she remembers to be empathetic and comfort others in vulnerable moments. Despite this, though, she has a very hard time coming to others when she’s vulnerable.

Daniel, aka Danny, is Keira’s old neighbor and only friend going into the new highschool. He’s like a big brother to her, and tries his best to keep her from harm, but doesn’t realize a lot of things that go on under his nose. He also consistently tries to befriend Jake because he’s a student council leader and wants to look out for him, and after a while, it eventually works, but not without hesitation and insults from Jake.

Aviva is a Latina girl who immigrated this year. She is very smart, and like Keira, she’s skipped a grade. However, because of her great value of intelligence and her studies, she often forgets that she, too, is a human being who can make mistakes, and that there’s nothing wrong with that. People also call her a teacher’s pet, which doesn’t make her feel good in the slightest.

Sky is a nice guy at heart, but he’s also a heartbreaker, and takes slight pleasure in having girlfriends just to have one. One of those girls just so happens to end up being Keira; he does like her as a friend, but ends up breaking her heart in two.

Juliette, nicknamed “Jule”, is a very timid girl. The strange thing, though, is that she is very social with random strangers, hence how she becomes friends with Keira and the others. Due to personal issues with her mother, Jule has a hard time coming to terms with being herself in front of others, even with something as simple as liking a TV show. Eventually though, she can learn to lighten up and be who she wants to be.

Austin: Austin is one of Danny’s friends, and he’s a big goof. He loves making others laugh and smile, and he’s very good at it, too. He’s also Faye’s older brother, so he does his best to be there for her. He’s empathetic and kind to most people, unless of course you’re a jackass.

Gabby is the self-appointed queen bee of the highschool. She draws most people in with a nice attitude, but transitions into a self-absorbed girl who mocks others behind their backs. She bullied Keira for 7 years in their old schools, and just so happens to end up back in the same school as Keira. She is fully prepared to ruin her life as she did for many years, though.

Trish is one girl who befriended Keira in her first 2 years of highschool. However, Gabby won her over and convinced her to do horrible things to Keira. Though now that she’s able to see how it’s affected Keira, she feels horrible about it, and often wishes she could disappear from the world for her actions.

Raina, unlike Trish, does not feel sorry for bullying Keira in the past. She and Trish befriended Keira, but when Gabby won them over with many “boyfriends” and popularity, Raina was fully willing to ditch Keira for her.

Kenzie is Keira’s younger sister. They don’t have the best relationship, and often Kenzie underestimates how sensitive Keira is, often resulting in Keira being a sobbing mess. However, she still loves her older sister dearly, and would pound anyone to pulp for her.

Katelyn is Keira’s older sister, who works at a local gas station while going to an online college. She’s very dedicated and smart, and she loves going out to have fun with people she cares about. While being a sarcastic and surly girl, she still wants to be there for her sisters and parents as much as possible.

Chrissy is Keira’s mom. She has a few of Keira’s same issues, so she is often able to understand what Keira is going through. However, due to a lot of issues with money and chores, she often gets overworked and stressed.

Ryan is Keira’s dad. He is a police officer, and works very hard for his family. He is often stressed from work, but still finds enough time to spend with his wife and daughters.

Miss Mylie is Keira’s homeroom teacher, and she’s very sweet and kind. She always tries to resolve differences with words and speaking to each other, and she never takes down her ever-present smile.

Mrs. Ophelia is the drama teacher. She is very passionate and, as her teaching suggests, dramatic. She always encourages people to express their feelings through what they do and say, even if it’s hard.
