Jake is the loner of the school; he’s not very social and doesn’t find it easy to make friends. In fact, he goes out of his way to be the furthest away from big groups as possible. However, somehow, he continues to keep running into Keira. He treats her badly at first, but after learning about some of her issues, he ends up finding out he relates to her more than he could’ve thought. They end up becoming very good friends, and he does end up falling for her slowly.
