Introduction
Hi there, everyone! My name is Alex, and I am looking for some awesome voice actors for a project of mine. It's my very first visual novel, and I've been working on it for a very long time, and am looking to make it as amazing as possible before I publish it! I love the voice acting community, and I really hope I am able to be a help to you guys as a form of practice and exposure. Thank you for your interest, and I hope you enjoy what I've laid out for you.
My ideal reader will be older kids and teens, as it is very fun with minimal swearing, but still hits on some heavy subjects.
The Tribe of the Sacred Fox
After simultaneously getting the news that the start date of school has changed - three teens, Bradley, Easton, and Ginger, find out school didn't start that early at all. Thankfully, this opens the doors to an invaluable friendship that they will definitely need to lean on later.
Fast forward a couple months into the school year - Bradley, Easton, and Ginger are now the best of friends. It was like it was meant to be! They walk home from school with each other every day. However, they quickly learn that they will not be in a group of three anymore - but a group of four. They encounter a enthusastic little fairy named Blossom! After meeting her, that's when everything changes for them.
Blossom leads the three into an entirely different universe, in Fox Hollow Village, where they are treated as legendary heroes. In the legends they recite, three children and one fairy will come from a different world to save them from terrible, evil enemies, who plan to destroy their peace.
Then comes their trainer, the commander of the Sacred Fox Army herself - Catalina Joaquin. She is bitter and hateful towards the four and the legend - as she is forced to leave her army to train them instead of fighting the war herself. Will she able to be convinced that the legend is true? Or is she correct - and the four kids won't be able to save Fox Hollow Village at all?
Expectations and Pay
First of all - I know it's a bit upsetting that I won't be able to pay you all for this project. However - (though I'm not expecting this) when I publish this, and if it ends up blowing up in popularity, I will then start selling copies of the game. After that point, I will be sure to compensate all of you with a fraction of the pay.
I will want to have every line voice acted in the novel for all 5 characters listed below. I plan to send you one chapter at a time and get it finished slowly and gradually. Like I said - I care about it being very good - so make sure you're ready to commit!
Other than that, I will be pretty lenient with you and your voice acting. One of the main reasons I want voice actors is to support the voice acting community! All I ask is that you are passionate about the character, and you have fun!
Other Concerns
Images - the images I have currently for the characters are temporary, makeshift sprites. What you see now is not what they will look like in the final game. I am currently working with a sprite artist - so once the sprites are complete, I will upload that file instead.

Bradley Moncrieff is a 14-year old boy, and the very first person shown in the visual novel. He comes from a very rich family, living in an estate - however, he is not snobby and does not bring attention to his money at all. Instead, he likes showing himself through his intelligence - not only does he get perfect grades, but he is shown to be much smarter than kids his age. He holds himself very seriously, and only shows emotion when he needs to. Some would think he comes off as rude, but his best friends Easton and Ginger know he is kind at heart.
When voicing Bradley, please use a serious, refined, and low-toned voice (as much as can be for a child his age). Though he is intelligent, I would perfer him not to sound nasally or nerdy. I would like you to voice him as serious, intelligent, and unemotional as he is, however, he is not completely devoid of emotion. He likes to go on tangents where he will go a little too deep into a simple topic, as shown by his last line about video games.
(To Easton) "The only time your jokes are funny is when they're unintentional. Even then, we're more laughing at you than the actual joke."
"You're right. East is always the one who drives our conversations, not to mention he also keeps them alive. It's no wonder why our conversation has turned so dry."
"I don't recall this conversation, nevertheless, the fact that you defended yourself by claiming you played such a simple game so well actually gives off the impression that you were trying to cover up the fact that you were bad at all others."
Easton is another 14 year old boy, being one of the main characters alongside his best friends Bradley and Ginger. East is energetic, hyperactive, and naive. He is always cracking jokes and being the life of the party, as well as being confident, motivated, and ready to do anything.
I would like you to voice him with as much energy and motivation for life that he always has.
"As my good buddy George Washington once said... 'my fellow Americans will have a right to self-defense.'"
"Yeah! Old man Makizushi's super wise. He's probably seen, like, ten fairies in his lifetime!"
"Holy crap! Can you believe that I wield a cannon?! How freaking awesome is that?!"
Ginger is a 14 year old girl, and the best friend of Bradley and Easton. She is very sweet and kind, avoiding confrontation at all costs. She is invaluable as a comforter, as she is very understanding when needed. However, she is still always up for having fun - joining Easton and cracking jokes along with him.
I would like you to voice her as kind and gentle - but still having a good bit of energy.
"Oh, you're right! It's just a butterfly. How cute!"
(Speaking of the heat) "Yeah! I mean, I'm wearing a sweatshirt, and I'm just fine!"
"Gamers are super cool! The games they play look so challenging...they must be really smart."
Blossom is the tiny fairy met by the three main characters. She's so innocent that she's not even sure how she arrived in their world, herself! But it's fun, so who cares, right? She has a bit of an attachment to Ginger as she is the kindest one. Blossom is very friendly and bubbly, and is willing to talk to anyone!
I would like you to voice her with the same high voice and bubbliness of a stereotypicial fairy.
"Mr. Makizushi? Teehee, that's a funny name!"
"Gross! It's raining. Maybe I should have stayed in the bag."
"That's actually a perfect role for me. My attacking spells aren't as great as they could be."
Catalina is a 26 year old woman, and the strict and sharp commander of the Sacred Fox Army. She addresses herself very seriously, wasting no time on jokes and banter. She doesn't believe in the legend, and despises being forced to train Bradley, Easton, Ginger, and Blossom, but she eventually realizes they're not so bad, and is a bit less harsh on them.
When voicing Catalina, hold back nothing. She holds a very high position, and as such, has no hesitation when speaking. I want to be able to hear the bite in your words.
"Get your weak, puny bodies on the ground right now, and start performing push-ups until your arms can't take it!"
"If you start by showing me what you can do, then I'll know what I have to work with. Does that make sense? Just shoot the bow."
"I asked a question, and I expect an answer!"
