The Sewers: Main Character Casting Call (Looking for Cyan VA)
Project Overview
Greetings! I am currently running a Casting Call for a rather obscure series called "The Sewers". The Sewers is a YouTube series created within Garry's Mod.
There will be between 6 and 7 episodes after what has already been done. Excluding the episode that I am currently working on.
There is no budget, and I sincerely hope that is alright.
What are we expecting?
- The scripts for The Sewers are typically quite long. Ranging from 30 pages on rare occasion, to 100 or even 200. Thus, they take quite some time to complete (a range of 5-7 months for some). You will be expected to be available for long periods of time, simply put: commitment is important. This project is long-term.
- A wide range of emotion. Many tragic things happen to the characters throughout the series, we want those scenes to come to life and not feel as though someone is simply reading them from a script.
- Make sure to attach a form of contact to your audition so that we can send you the lines if cast. This can be either a Discord account or an email.
- Good microphone quality is required

Spacecore is a lead role within The Sewers series. Furthermore, he also acts as the series' mascot. Voice actors will be expected to:
- Be available for long intervals (the time between script writing, filming, and publishing) commitment is important
- Be able to deliver a wide range of emotions (this series has some rather emotional scenes, you should embody the character rather than reading their lines)
What does this role entail?
Spacecore is a rather unusual character, charismatic and hosting important meetings at fast food restaurants. However, despite his bizarre appearance, he's actually quite a kind person. He can sometimes say things that he does not mean, causing a lot of trouble, but he does care about those close to him deep down. (Some inspirations: Ryuji Sakamoto from Persona 5, David Martinez from Cyberpunk and Narancia from Golden Wind).-

Name's Spacecore! It's radical to meet ya!
(Frustrated) You guys are no fun!
Yuri is one of the main characters in The Sewers. He is a man of logic and determination, yet, unfortunately, he is not the best with expressing proper emotion as a result of this. Yuri can come off as cold and uncaring at times, because he values the facts above all else, but he truly does care for his companions.
Prior to his development, Yuri is quite insecure. However, once he overcomes his fears, he becomes an almost parental figure, acting as a pillar of support for his friends.
Yuri is a very intelligent character, often devising plans tailored to his foes.
Yuri was born in France, but raised in England. Thus, he should have either a British accent with hints of French, or a French accent with hints of British.
Inspirations are Miles Edgeworth from Ace Attorney, Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4, Loid Forger from Spy x Family, and Spy from Team Fortress 2.

We're looking for a voice quite similar to this, as there is an unvoiced scene within that video. We're looking for the transition to be quite smooth.

Whilst I currently have the advantage, I cannot get cocky. I must remain vigilant.
Cyan is just an ordinary person, he works as a cashier at a convenience store. However, Cyan has a history with murders and assault, in fact, he worked as a mercenary in the past. Cyan appears to be mentally sound, while underneath, he is a truly broken man. Cyan rarely cares about anything, however, he has a son whom he is a great father to. Cyan should sound quite dead inside, as he has seen many traumatic things within his life. A deep voice is what we are looking for.
Most of Cyan's deliveries are deadpan, but he still has moments of strong emotion.
Examples of what we are looking for would be Kishibe from Chainsaw Man, Jotaro Kujo from JoJo, and Iwai from Persona 5.

Rosa Scott is one of the main Sewers characters. She is a person who looks out for others, but stands up for what she believes in.
Rosa has lived in the jungle for most of her life, assisting Spook with archelogy. Other than working as a mechanic for a few years, she doesn't have much experience with society. Thus, she is quite reclusive.
Either a Welsh (similar to Nia or Mio from Xenoblade) or American (Similar to Trish from JoJo and Ann Takamaki) would work for this character.
Inspirations/characters similar to this character are: Trish (JoJo), Mio (Xenoblade Chronicles 2), Aubrey (Omori), Gina Lestrade (TGAA), Lady (DMC)

Fazey is the primary antagonist of The Sewers series.
Previously a renowned solider, Fazey was chosen to be the subject of an experiment - turning him into the ultimate weapon.
Fazey's ultimate goal is to retrieve the Wookong Egg and birth a new world: devoid of violence. However, in order to do that, he is willing to take as many lives as he needs.
Fazey is quite a silent character, but there is a slight malevolence in his voice. I would like a sinister undertone at some points, whilst still sounding quite deadpan.
Inspirations: Jin from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Sephiroth from FF7.
