The Murderer and the Hare - Need a Narrator!
Project Overview
Intro
Hi! my name is Stacey! I'm a university student doing a Diploma of Interactive media
For one of my projects. I'm making an animation that is the horror sequel to the Tortoise and the Hare where the Tortoise is a murderer and the Hare is trying to convict him, hence the title.
The Story
The story starts with a short recap of The Tortoise and the Hare fable. The narrator then explains that the Tortoise becomes friends with everyone in the village including the Hare. The Tortoise invites a villager over for tea, however that same night, there is a scream heard in the middle of the night. The Hare and two other villagers try to find the source but end up finding the dead body of one of the villagers. The village is scared and hold a funeral for the deceased villager. After this the Tortoise invites another villager over, and this time, the Hare is on patrol trying to find the culprit, when he sees the Tortoise in the midst of murdering another of the villagers. The next morning he accuses the tortoise of his crimes., however the tortoise pleads not-guilty and the townsfolk support him, in fact they blame the Hare for the murders and lying. The Hare runs off, later that night the Hare is patrolling again and falls asleep due to exhaustion, and the Tortoise stands above him with a manic grin.
Style
The story is told in a storybook like animation, still frames that fade into one other instead of full movement animation. And because of the project limitations the whole animation is in black and white.

Since the story is told in a storybook like fashion, the Narrator is speaking as if he were reading it to someone while also doing the voices of the characters too. I need someone who can do multiple voices for the characters as well as the normal voice for for telling the story.
Narrator (Normal storybook voice)
Line 1 - "You remember the story of the Tortoise and the Hare right? A race where the Hare had a clear victory. However his cockiness lead him to lose the race to the Tortoise, who proved that slow and steady wins the race"
Line 2 - "The Tortoise became close friends with everyone, even the Hare, who was willing to put aside his loss."Narrator (Main Character voices)

Hare voice (the hare is a young character):
Line 1 - (Scared and confused) "Who would do something like this!? Hippo never deserved this"
Line 2 - (Accusatory) "I know whos behind the murders! its the tortoise! I saw him!"
Tortoise voice (tortoise is more of a old man)Line 1 - (Innocent) "No! it wasn't me! I have been framed! I wouldn't hurt a fly!
Line 2 - (Menacing) "Sleep well, Hare..."Narrator (Side Character voices, each line is a different character, i just want to see how many voices you can do)
Line 1 - "Oh no! who would do this!!??"
Line 2 - "How do we know you didn't do it!?"
Line 3 - "Yeah, maybe you just want to blame the Tortoise because he beat you in the race!!"
