Please read the following before applying:
- Season 2 will consist from the episodes "Rebel Spirit" to "Light in the Dark".
- Prior knowledge of The Legend of Korra or The Last Airbender is NOT required. You will learn throughout your work! :)
- A Discord is required. Our server will be the place to find each script and video file, as well as a hub for line submissions (you may submit either through the channel or directly to me). Please provide your username in your submission.
- Please be dedicated and committed as this will be a long-term project. Casting calls are by season. If deadlines cannot be met for recordings or edits please message me ASAP or we will have to recast due to inactivity.
- MP3 or WAV format for voice submissions, recorded on a microphone, with little to no background noise. Recordings by phone or earbud microphones are not recommended due to poor quality.
- You may audition for as many characters as you'd like!
- Any absent character roles have already been cast. Our season 1 cast has confirmed their return.
- If you are cast, you will be sent a message of an offer of acceptance for your role(s) and, following your acceptance, an invite to The Legend of Korra Fandub Discord server, where files and scripts will be shared and posted.

Please do not hesitate to audition for more characters. This season has a TON of minor characters & extras, the majority being for male adult voices in particular. If you'd like to be considered for the pool, please audition in "Minor characters & Unnamed Extras" at the very bottom of the list of character roles, and shoot your shot at the others listed as well.
As the hard deadline is set for December 31st, casting will begin in January 2025.

Kya is the second child of Avatar Aang and Katara's three children and their only daughter, as well as the couple's only waterbending child. After traveling the world and becoming a renowned healer of her own accord, she settled down with her mother in the Southern Water Tribe following Aang's passing, though frequently travels to Republic City to help out whenever the city is in trouble.

Iknik Blackstone Varrick, more commonly known by his last name, is an eccentric and charismatic nonbending billionaire businessman known for his ambitious nature and flamboyance. Born in the Southern Water Tribe, he is a nobleman who enjoys gallivanting across the globe on his yacht and flaunting his extravagant lifestyle, often at the expense of his former assistant and eventual wife, Zhu Li.

Iroh was a retired Fire Nation general, a former Crown Prince of the nation, a Grand Lotus of the Order of the White Lotus, a firebending master, and a wise mentor to his nephew Zuko. He was the elder son of Fire Lord Azulon and Ilah and the older brother of Ozai. Iroh's well-known ability to breathe fire and his claims of "slaying" the last dragon earned him the honorary title "The Dragon of the West".

Even in the material world, you will find that if you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see.
The lion turtle, honorably referred to as Ancient One by the spirits, is the largest and oldest known animal in the world. In the era of Raava, lion turtles populated the Spirit Wilds, where they served as protectors of mankind by housing cities on their backs. As indicated by the symbols on their foreheads, each individual lion turtle showed an affinity for one of the four elements and possessed the ability to grant individuals the power to control said element through energybending.

Wan Shi Tong is an ancient, wise, and powerful spirit who collects information for his Spirit Library. He is the most knowledgeable being among humans and spirits, never missing an opportunity to learn new facts or boast about his vast intelligence, though he has developed an indifference for studying human technology since leaving the physical world. Although his regular shape is that of a huge black-and-white barn owl, when angered he can assume much more frightening, stronger forms.

Zhao was the leader of the Fire Nation Navy for a brief period in early 100 AG. During his career, he held the ranks of lieutenant, captain, commander, and finally admiral. He was trained by Jeong Jeong to become a master firebender and, as one of the most powerful men in the Fire Nation, took it upon himself to capture Avatar Aang, thus becoming a rival of Prince Zuko. Zhao was a major enemy of Team Avatar in most of the events leading up to his siege of the Northern Water Tribe, during which he killed the Moon Spirit at the Spirit Oasis. This resulted in his downfall by a vengeful Ocean Spirit, who subsequently condemned Zhao to spend eternity in the Fog of Lost Souls in the Spirit World.

The aye-aye spirit is the caretaker of a Spirit Oasis within the Spirit Wilds. Although he once harbored an intense prejudice toward humans, the spirit developed a bond with Wan which allowed him to see the human potential of nobility and selflessness. He even gave Wan the name of "Stinky", as he jokingly stated that he viewed Wan as his pet.

Spirits are able to take over a human body for a short time. If I stayed in there any longer, I would've killed him, which I did consider.
Yao was Wan's friend, who possessed some tree-like qualities after a spirit possessed him, making him a social pariah. He was one of the first people in the world to voluntarily leave the safety of a lion turtle city for the hazards of the Spirit Wilds. Along with the other impoverished citizens from his city, Yao ventured into the wilds to start a new life and escape the tyranny of the Chou family.

Karu is one of several Bhanti sages residing on an island in the southern Fire Nation, who are tasked with guarding the local Bhanti Village Temple. After Avatar Korra had washed up on the island following her fight with a dark spirit, Karu was among the sages who found and rescued her.
