What do we look for in a prospective team member?
We are looking for dedicated participants who will be willing to stick with us patiently and potentially wait for a long time to act their character before and during that character's time in the series. Please note that side content with no restrictions placed on canonical stories, such as Asinine Attorney episodes, may open up opportunities for some actors earlier than expected. Voice acting for TSoJ is not a large amount of work for one person, as once a character is introduced in the story and begins to receive lines, the chosen voice actor will be given ample time to get their lines in with breaks between episodes, often by a couple months or longer. The Shield of Justice is a complicated project with a lot of moving parts, but voice acting for the project won't be much work for one person. This is why we value commitment, patience, and communication so much! By auditioning to this casting call, you are promising to accept and cooperate with this process!
SPECIFIC INFO FOR TGAA CHARACTERS
This Casting Call page has a relatively brief deadline and a special purpose that we would like to make known to all those who audition. We are currently developing an Asinine Attorney episode starring Sherlock Holmes and we intend to release the video sometime before July 27th, the worldwide release of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. The development of this video must go rather quickly, and that is why we hope to quickly cast voice actors for the characters and have them turn in their lines relatively quickly as well. However! Please note that far into the future, we intend to have a TSoJ storyline that will feature several characters from the TGAA cast, and we greatly desire retaining these voice actors on the project from now and through that point in time! That is huge! This makes our need for compassion and commitment, along with recruiting those will become a part of our community and be there for the long-haul, ever more important.
IMPORTANT NOTES
-Team Turnabout operates via a Discord server. We require that all dev-team members have a Discord account and check the server frequently.
-Poor microphone quality can significantly hurt the reception of your audition. A Blue Snowball is recommended as a minimum source of microphone audio quality.
-Multiple takes per audition are perfectly acceptable, but also optional.
A select number of the most favored auditions will be asked to partake in an interview with me on Discord, and the official casting will be done shortly after, taking both the audition and the interview into consideration. If you do not accept a friend request from me, it's possible that I won't be able to reach you at all, so please be mindful of that! Look out for a Discord user by the name of IKG Productions -- that's me! :) We recognize that this is a highly unusual step in the process, but we deemed it was necessary given difficulties when working with a previous actor. Just want to be transparent!

Taketsuchi Auchi is set to be a minor recurring character in The Shield of Justice who will potentially play a minor role in a future storyline. He is also a major character of the Asinine Attorney that is currently in development. We are looking for a similar performance to Winston or Gaspen Payne.

Magnus McGilded is a minor character featured in an Asinine Attorney that is currently in development. We are looking for a voice vaguely similar to Eugene H. Krabs, with an emphasized Scottish accent (Yes, we're serious).

Bruce Fairplay is a minor character featured in an Asinine Attorney that is currently in development. We are looking for a voice of a high-society English gentleman. The man carries a cane... we're really looking for that level of posh.
