James Hare is a Spotlight registered Voice Actor and Actor from the UK. His work ethic is professional and friendly and has a versatile and creative approach to Acting with over 10 years experience in the voiceover and entertainment industry. His natural voice has been described as engaging, trustworthy and informative and can go from a mid to high range in a number of accents and characterisations including; American-Southern States, American-Standard, Australian, Central Scottish, Dutch, Edinburgh, French, German, Glasgow, Heightened RP, London, RP, Scottish-Standard. His natural accent is Southern English, Hampshire, Surrey.
Based in his home studio in the UK he began his voice acting journey learning from industry experts D’Arcy Smith, Katelyn Reid (Vocal Combat), Nina Zendejas (Voice Coach) and Tom Clarke-Hill (Voices in Animation), as well as attending classes by renowned Casting Directors such as Sirena Irwin, Pamela Goldman and Steve Blum.
James has had an ambition since childhood to voice characters in animation and video games and enjoys working across multiple genres for Film, TV, Podcasts and Web Series. His dream project would be to work on an animated series or film for Disney, Prime or Netflix. His most recent voice acting roles he plays the lead 'Emlian' in drama/action Podcast Katabasis. The lead 'Bernard' in upcoming animated feature film Fat Chance (2024) and 'Henry Stein' in the recently released Dream's Come to Life (2022) animated film.
James can also be heard in award nominated animated series Transportation Station as Bernard. Phone Guy in popular animated short film FNAF: Sister Location (2022). 'Havi' in the sci-fi drama Podcast The Binary Saga and as Humphrey, client of the mysterious Amelia Project Podcast.

James Hare does an amazing job as Bernard in my ongoing animated series, Transportation Station. He records his lines on time or even before the due date. The audio quality and delivery are always excellent, and he is quick to respond to messages. He has certainly brought a great deal of character to his role.
