The Flash : Reverse New52 Motion Comic Film
Project Overview
It's time for another DC comics film and this time we are doing The Flash - Reverse Flash Volume 4 of the New 52. This well-written story paints the picture of what can happen to anyone if we abuse power. It also points out the importance of accountability and integrity within The Flash. This will be a full-length film, showcasing the Flash's story in motion comic format. For an example of how I adapt these comics, check out the most recent Justice League in the explainer video.

1 role remaining
I've cast most of the roles at this point, but need a voice actor or actress to voice young Daniel West. -
Extending Deadline for Two roles
I've made my decision on most of the roles. There's a lot of talented people who auditioned, so please do feel free to try the remaining two roles if you'd like. -
Casting - Round 1
Extending deadline for a second round, but will be casting some roles tomorrow.
She has a narration/monologue towards the beginning of the film. Sadly, she's eliminated by Reverse Flash, like various other characters in the film. These are her lines for the film, so I might use the audition audio file. Basically Marissa is a woman who was caught in the speed force along with others and gained abilities. She was locked up due to what she did with these abilities. Now she's writing a letter to the love of her life - Gomez.
Dear Gomez, I don’t really know what to say besides sorry...I’m sorry I didn’t support you. I’m sorry I lied about having powers. And I’m sorry for the things I did with them... If I could take it all back, I would. (writing a letter. Sorrow tone)
Maybe, one day you will forgive me and come visit...I’d hate for your last memory of me to be that fight on the bridge. I hope you can find the time. I don’t want this to be goodbye. Love, Marissa. (writing a letter. Sorrow tone)
Gomez, like his girlfriend Marissa and friend Albert, was sucked into the speed force. There, they gained abilities and a connection to the Flash. The Reverse Flash is hunting down people with abilities, but Flash thinks Gomez might have something to do with the recent crimes. Has super strength.
It wasn’t me! It was the same guy who killed Albert…
He may have gotten Albert, but he’s not gonna get ME! (pushes Flash against wall)
A woman on the subway that suddenly derails. She's freaking out and says this line in the film.
Oh my God!
David is an old friend of Barry Allen/Flash who used to work in the crime labs. He doesn't want him to get involved in the recent killings in central city. He appear in on scene.
This isn’t your job anymore Barry. You’ve been reassigned to filing cold cases.
Darwin used to be an ally to the Flash during his first exploits. He designed gadgets that helped the city regain control during the Gorilla invasion, and he even provided hints for the Flash. However, he's now grown an obsession with gaining the power of the speed force and using it for his own personal reasons, or what he calls the "bigger picture"
Nightmares are getting worse...from the moment he first sped into the Gem cities, the Flash has been my obsession. A man with “immense” power who chooses to use his gifts in service of humanity. Unwavering and incorruptible at every turn.
I’m no different. However, my hyper-intelligence enables me to see the “bigger” picture.
Captain Cold and his gang of criminals helped the Flash stop the Gorillas during the invasion, but had been trying to exploit the city by charging a tariff for their services.
That’s right, empty your pockets and donate to this good cause, superhero-ing ain't cheap, y’know.
A member of Captain cold's gang. Is being annoyed by Daniel West - soon to be Reverse Flash.
Son of a--! Weather wizard, grab that kid!
Member of Captain Cold's team. Not entirely sure what her name is, but she has one line in the film.
Great cold, look what you’ve done! Once again, you’ve made a mess of things!
This is a younger version of Iris West, a character that was recently sucked into the speed force as well. Iris and her brother Daniel grew up in an abusive environment and Iris, being the big sister, always tried to look after her brother Daniel. She appears in a few scenes.
Don’t worry Daniel. I’ll always be here to protect you. I promise.
Aw, Daniel. I already do.
This is Daniel West when he was a kid, before he became Reverse Flash. He loves his sister, but hates his abusive father to the point of running away. This version of Daniel is important because it shows the origin of the Reverse Flash's hatred and pursuit for vengeance.
You think Dad’s in a better mood now?
Yea, my teacher says that the boy crickets telling the girl crickets that they love them. I’m gonna catch some and take them home, so that way you’ll always know I love you Iris!
