The Bigger Picture - Original Animated Web-Series (Paid Animator Call #2)

The Bigger Picture - Original Animated Web-Series (Paid Animator Call #2)

Project Overview

The Bigger Picture is an animated web-series in the works. We have been working on it non-stop since August 2021, and it's not slowing down anytime soon. The series follows typical characters from different genres of story as they work together to save the multiverse from threats, but their main issue comes from the struggle for them to cooperate despite their differences. Chaos ensues.

There are certain scenes within the series that I think could look good with some extra help (hence what this call is for)
If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to privately message me! I won't bite! <3

  • Deadline Hit!

    Hey everyone!

We've hit the deadline, it seems! Wow, time went by fast. Thank you to everyone who auditioned! All of you submitted such beautiful and breath-taking animations! Blew my expectations away!

I am, of course, casting multiple people. As a result, I will not be "casting" anyone traditionally (as in actually pressing the cast button. BUT, I will give recommendations on your account if you want it under your CCC portfolio or something.)

If you auditioned and do not get chosen, please do not take it personally. I looked at each and every audition and I mean it when I say I was impressed by each one. However, personally, I don't want a large amount of animators. I'd rather have a few that I can get to know well, rather than an assembly line of a bunch of animators. Thank you for auditioning, and I loved your work, and wish you luck with any future projects!

If you ARE chosen, I will DM you on either Discord, or if you didn't say your discord, I will resort to your CCC!

Thank you so much once again, to everyone! <3

IMPORTANT: Casting Call Club does not give me the option for how I will ACTUALLY be paying you. I did the best I could. I will be paying per scene. It's very situational, which is what CCC is not allowing me to choose. I will pay you based on complexity and length of the scene - but I will always pay you at least $50 and at most $150 (per scene). I will not decide the complexity of the scene alone, we will discuss it and come to a reasonable conclusion together. (because, believe it or not, this is an indie project where  there's this neat thing called "communication")

Scenes will range anywhere from 1-3 minutes. Never longer than that, and also, in the 3 minute scenes that you might do, you wouldn't be doing all of it. I will help with certain simpler shots. So, in reality, you will most likely doing 2 minutes max for one scene, and that'll probably be the one where you get closer to $150.

You must be able to animate at multiple angles. I will not ask you to do any complex "camera" movements, I just don't want the typical front-and-side-angles-only animation. I would like the characters to be able to turn their heads slightly, or turn their body (although full-turnarounds are never necessary, I just mean I don't want them to be stuck in the same two angle 24/7)

-You will only be responsible for the character animation alone. Don't worry about the backgrounds.
-You will be provided character sheets of the characters from a front and side angle. I will help you with other angles if you struggle with those, but generally it should be pretty easy to form an angle that is an in between of the two.
-You will be provided with storyboards in the form of a video, but if you prefer an image, we can work something out.
-You must be able to lip-sync mouths to voice lines.

Thank you!
