This Casting Call is for the PRODUCTION CREW of "The Amazing Spider-Man", I am making this because I realized that I would not be able to do this all on my own, either due to stress problems, lack of experience, or general busy-ness!

CASTING MULTIPLE PEOPLE!

A Groovy Show Productions'  “The Amazing Spider-Man” is an Audio Drama consisting of nineteen episodes based on "Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1" that uses the comics history as a stepping-off point and storytelling technique. With the first season going over the early issues of the 1960s along with Spidey's debut in Amazing Fantasy no. 15. Witness a modern retelling of these classic Spider-Man stories given to us decades ago by Marvel Comics!

Created, produced, and written by Jasper Webb.

SCRIPT WRITERS/EDITORS

Scriptwriters and editors will be those who help speed up the process of writing episodes, they will be given outlines and ideas of descriptions, quotes, action, and basically what to include in a scene before they take the lead from there. They will be working CLOSE with the current creator/writer/producer and must be able to communicate effectively with them.

PLEASE HAVE A VERY, VERY, VERY GOOD UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THE MYTHOS, CHARACTERIZATIONS, HISTORY, AND COMICS OF SPIDER-MAN!!

Due to the length of Season One being eighteen episodes and there currently being one person doing this job(myself), more than one writer/scriptwriter/editor would be ideal. You would also be expected to be communitive and have the ability to work well with the cast and crew, such as musicians, cast, audio/sound engineers, editors, and so on.

If you audition, it would be preferred if you were able to return to the series for FUTURE seasons!

When you audition for this writer role, it would be amazing if you could submit your most recent AS WELL AS your most relevant works(in regards to something similar to what you will potentially be writing for the series). You can do this by adding the two works to an accessible Google Drive and sharing the link in the audition notes!

MUSIC COMPOSERS

In regards to what the main theme of the show should sound like, please be inspired or based on the beautiful and heroic piece of music by John Murphy Henry Jackman from the movie Kick-Ass called "Flying Home"! It would also be great if you incorporated either the "Spider-Man, Spider-Man!" motif from the 1960s Spider-Man show OR the "Spectacular Spider-Man" tune from the show of the same name in this main theme! For background music and other themes that you hear throughout the show, please look to the works of Hans Zimmer(The Amazing Spider-Man 2), John Paesano(Insomniac's Spider-Man Games), James Horner(The Amazing Spider-Man), and Daniel Pemberton(The Spider-Verse Films) as inspiration!
