What if Pokémon Played Survivor? That is the question that Pocket Survival has set out to answer twice up to this point! A thrilling game where a large cast of Pokémon battle it out, first in a tribe vs tribe format, then in an individual format! Each episode ends with a player being voted out, until only one player remains, the winner! But this time, we're changing things up! 3 Tribes, 21 Pokemon! This is Pocket Survival 3: Island of the Beasts!
Pocket Survival is essentially a simulation with a story written around it. Fans and friends submit characters, a cast is selected, and then the pokemon are thrown into a brantsteele simulation. As the writer, I take notes on everything that happens in the simulation, the challenges, the tribal councils, down to the events, and I add plenty of extra fluff and story on top to make it truly unique. We've done two seasons of Pocket Survival up to this point, Lugia's Reef (Season One) and Koraidon Badlands (Season Two).
I'd like to try and get Season 3 to be voice acted! This would mostly mean voiced:
- Confessionals
- Tribal Council Dialogue
- Off-Hand Comments / Whispers
- General Dialogue

Project Details:
- This is a short term project. If all goes according to plan, then all lines from all VA's will be submitted within two months time from the casting deadline.
- If the project goes well and voice acting continues to be a regular for the series, you may be requested to return to voice the character again. Typically I will ask ahead of time if you would like to be contacted in the future about returning, it is not a requirement to be cast.
- First, in the week leading up to the livestream, shorts will be posted each day on youtube, twitter, and bluesky, each short highlighting a character doing the equivalent of a pre-game interview. Then, the entire season will be streamed live on twitch over 2-3 livestreams. The VODs will then be posted up on my VODs channel. Then before the next season (or if another season does not happen, within a few months after the original livestream), an edited down version will be uploaded to my main youtube channel. Credits for every voice actor will be showcased on all fronts.
- Please come in with the knowledge that your character could place anywhere, no matter how hopeful or well built up they are before their vote out. All the writing is happening actively whilst looking through the results of a brantsteele simulation, so some characters may be voted out in unpleasant or sudden ways.
- Scripts will be split into two different types: Pre-Merge, and Merge. VA's will be given the Pre-Merge scripts first, with a deadline to submit the Pre-Merge lines of about 1-2 weeks after being given the script. Then, VA's will be given the Merge script if their character made merge, or is a jury member.
- If your character reaches the final 5, you will get dialogue for the instance that they are the winner. This is mostly to combat bad faith spoilers from ruining the absolute ending, but yes. Every character that reaches the final 5 will have 'any-case dialogue' in their scripts to prevent the winner from being spoiled. This dialogue includes being 5th place, 4th place, 3rd place, 2nd place, 1st place, etc.. In addition, every character that is a juror will have 'any-case dialogue' for asking questions to every player that is still in the game after their vote out.
Guidelines:
- Please add your Discord handle to your audition
- Audio quality, while preferred to be high, is not a must for this project. This is more meant to be a fun thing so if your mic is a bit fuzzy then it's not a big deal.
- Yes, this is a smaller project that not many people really care about, but even so, no spoilers! Especially during the live stream! Considering if your character is not in the final 5, it is generally pretty easy to tell where they placed, so I would prefer if you do not spoil anything related to the project.
Optional Guidelines:
- You may submit for as many characters as you'd like, and may even be cast for multiple characters, so long as the auditions between them sound different enough. Vocal variation is key for those seeking multiple roles!
- A discord server will be created to run the project in and make bigger announcements, with more specific announcements on when the streams will be happening, and will offer future VA casting opportunities if this VA project goes well enough. This is NOT required to join, as all scripts and dialogue submissions will be sent through private DM.
Considering this is my first casting call club project and I don't get many views on these streams and videos, I want to really drive in for the record: This is mostly for FUN and will be credited, unpaid roles. Additionally, if we don't get enough submissions, then the voice acting branch of this season may be cancelled altogether because this is not a project that requires voice actors, it is simply seeking to add voice acting to add more character to the, well, characters! We've already done two seasons without VA's, after all.
Minor Note: If many character descriptions seem written by different folks, it's because they are! Pocket Survival is partially cast through viewer submissions! So, for submissions that summarize the character well enough, I've left them preserved as is. Submissions that are way too small or way too long, I've tried my best to re-write to give a better idea of the character.

Hello! I want to take a moment to thank everyone who applied for roles in the project, I seriously wasn't expecting this massive turn out! Over 300 submissions from over 120 different people is AMAZING and I couldn't be more thankful!
The casting deadline has officially passed! This means that no submissions posted past the time of this update will be looked at for the characters of Pocket Survival. I plan on casting roles over the next few days! If you've received a notification that you've been shortlisted, that means you're in contention for any roles you've been shortlisted for! If you've been shortlisted for multiple roles, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be cast for all of them! I plan on following a strict 2 MAX ROLES per VA!
I'll be messaging you either through casting call club or will friend you over on discord to inform you if you've gotten a role, so please keep a look out for me in your dms on CCC or on Discord (flauntiewolf - same pfp as CCC). I'll be doing messaging before officially closing each role to make sure that the person who earned the role is still interested in taking it! Sorta like an activity check, if you will! If I don't receive an answer within 2-3 days, I'll likely move onto another candidate for the role! Once I get an affirmative response from a VA, that is when the role status on this page will close with the winning VA selected for the role!
Due to the overwhelming turnout, I did decide to go ahead with opening the Pocket Survival discord server! If you were interested in following this project or are interested in VA'ing for future seasons, this would be the first place to receive news and updates about this sorta thing, and chat with other people that are interested in Pocket Survival! Officially cast VA's are NOT required to join the server, as all work (scripts and recordings) will be traded through DMs to ensure secrecy, but for those that do join, there will be a private category for PS3 VA's specifically!
I would highly recommend joining the server if you want to try and voice for future seasons of Pocket Survival! If all goes according to plan, there will be roughly 3 seasons a year, with a few months gap between them, so plenty of opportunity to be cast for a role! Non-VA's or non-friends will have to go through a short approval process which involves introducing themselves in the introductions tab before being granted a role to access the open parts of the server!

Basically acts exactly like Andy Dwyer from Parks and Recreation. A loveable airhead that tries his best, but doesn't quite seem to understand what's going on most of the time, resulting in him being wrong often. He doesn't explain much about his childhood though seems to get excitable about nostalgia from many different things. At current he considers himself an ultimate rock star, though in reality he just plays in a garage band with some friends and is very much unemployed. The band itself isn't very good either. It's called "Thunderstrike" and anytime he brings it up, he specifies that it isn't related to the band "Thunderstruck", even though Thunderstruck is a song not a band. He lives with his girlfriend and they have a very close but kind of weird relationship. It's still clearly love though!
(Introduction Confessional) “Oh arceus, I cannot tell you how excited I am to be here man! I mean, Pocket Survival is so fun to watch, it’s been my dream to come on here ever since my girlfriend showed me like a week before I auditioned. So come on then, let’s get to the fun! Well, kind of, see we haven’t actually played any gigs and we don’t have any albums, but I mean, we’re kick ass! An Ill-Tempered asshole, prone to loud outbursts and seeking control! He has unpredictable mood patterns, and is not afraid to speak his mind. He genuinely hates most mons, except for those that give him what he wants. He leads a biker gang, and as a Western Gastrodon gang, their rivals in town are an Eastern Gastrodon gang, and it's a true blood feud! Despite this, he's come onto Pocket Survival to share his hate with the world!
(Introduction Confessional) “Hey hey hey, you keep that camera right on me alright? Don’t go lookin off past me or anything like that. Oh! And there best not be any eastern punks around, you know damn well I’d fuck them up and take the ejection, damn right! I’m Burger, leader of the western biker gang back home, the toughest gang there is! Back home, that there is our territory, MY territory, you dig? But bein out here, out of that territory, kinda fucked up ya know? I know my gang can handle a little eastern fuckery but I still got that unease, get that? But that’s not important right now, what is important is getting to the end of this game and bringing a big million back home to the boys! Dexheart is an "entertainment battler", which is the equivalent to like, a WWE wrestler in this world. Except, unlike wrestlers in public places, Dexheart is fully invested in kayfabe. He may be a nice guy in real life, but in the arena, and now on Pocket Survival, he's a cocky mon that shittalks his opponents with low jabs, and isn't afraid to speak his mind. Despite being so mean, most mons just brush him off since entertainment battling isn't 'real'. Most confessionals of his just come off like promos, even to the point of addressing the audience. Tribal Council is much of the same, except he's more likely to treat it like a versus promo and cut jabs at the other mons around him. That being said, his promo skills are top notch and he's pretty clever. He brings up almost constantly that he is a 3x World Champion. If he somehow wins, he will call Pocket Survival his 4th World Championship.

Shadow is a quiet type of mon, that doesn't speak very often. When he does, it's clear he put a lot of thought into what he was saying, but is a bit nervous in actually expressing it, showcased by many verbal interruptions of 'uh', 'er', and 'um' throughout his speech. He's a strategic mind that is always thinking about what to do next. He's also the type to give up if he sees the writing on the wall. He's very introverted, not doing well in situations where he has to think quick or pressure is put on him to come up with a decision.
(Introduction Confessional) “Hi, yes, I’m Shadow. Am I talking too quietly? This is fine? Okay. Sorry, I’m told I talk quietly a lot. I own a uh, thrift store back home. Um, I just really liked watching the last two seasons of Pocket Survival, so I auditioned. I’m kinda surprised you guys picked me. I’m a little introverted, but not to the degrees of Jerimiah or Nyra from seasons past. I’m more the uh, quiet kind of introvert. It might take a few days for me to get used to my tribe enough to talk much, sorry if that gets me voted out early. I think once I get going I can be a uh, a pretty good force in this game though, you know? I have a really strategic mind that I want to use to wiggle my way through the uh, game. Yeah. I think I was cast because I specified that I’m not weak-willed enough to be forced to vote a certain way, like what happened with Nyra last season.”

A curious mind, eager to see more of the world around her. To learn what she didn't know before. Intelligent in many ways. There is much in this world she doesn't know and she has rarely been given reasons to distrust people, so she trusts those around her without thinking twice about it. But really, she only truly cares about how she feels; never considering other peoples feelings or how she comes across to them. She's not fond of making waves or openly disagreeing with others though. To Summer, it's 'the simpler, the better.' Too many arguments just make things complicated, confrontation is such a hassle and people that always take things personally are such a pain. Why's it such a big deal if she wants the ocean to completely evaporate, anyway? Who's that gonna inconvenience apart from a couple of fish? Really, can't she just reach for her dreams in peace? Yes, one day, she will find Groudon and the drought They will unleash upon the world shall destroy the ocean once and for all. So for now, she is more than willing to bide her time. She calls herself a Magma Truther, a final remnant in the cult worshipping Groudon and the "eventual" great drought.
If you can imagine what a cult-infested mind would talk like, that's her. No matter what's happening she always sounds happy, that creepy kind of happy. Even at her saddest moments, she can't mutter anything worse than a neutral tone.
(Introduction Confessional) “Pleased greetings to you all! I am Summer of Team Hotcake, great to meet you! As an exploration team member, there’s a lot of traveling and camping out involved, so seeing a chance to earn a lot of extra money for what I find myself doing most days anyway seemed like a no brainer. I’m mostly here for the money after all, that’s the important part. Why do I want the money? Oh well, I don’t want to spoil too much but… I have plans for it, that’s for sure. Don’t want to clue anyone in on the fun that we’ll be having very soon after I win! So, for simplicity sake, let’s just say it will go toward accomplishing my dreams. Yeah, that’s about as much as I can say.”

You may look at an Eevee and assume they're on the younger end first things first, but once you hear Virginia's voice you'll know she's quite the opposite. Virginia is a rather old Eevee, having not evolved due to the everstone necklace she has around her neck, a family heirloom. She is the very sweet kind of old, a nice loving soul that enjoys bringing smiles to other mons faces. She's very sweet towards other mons and treats them like she would her grandchildren. She might not be the best physically, but for tribe morale, she is unmatched. She doesn't like to think much strategically, a more passive player content with being around the rest of the tribe and enjoying herself. She always seems to have a butterscotch candy to hand out if someone is feeling down, somehow.
(Introduction Confessional) “Oh, hello there young ones! Oop, weren’t expecting this voice coming from such a young looking Eevee, were you? Don’t worry dear, I get that a lot. It’s not often you see an elderly Eevee around. I’m Virginia. I’m sure you’re a bit confused seeing such an old mon out here to play such a brutal game, but don’t you worry about me sweeties! Retirements just been far too boring, and I applied looking for the adventure my life has never gotten! Oh this reminds me of when I was young, the little thrills of doing things you shouldn’t be, like sneaking out past bedtime and underage drinking! Sorry for droning on about my past, it’s just good for the heart to reminisce on the glory days. Alright, well it’s nearly time to get started, you all stay safe now!”
(Answering a Question at Tribal Council) “Well sir, I don’t really know what to think… This reminds me of my grandchildren back home, they fight so often, but even they don’t get this intense… It’s so sad to have to vote one of them out! It's like picking between my grandchildren..."

Savar Tribe (She/Her)
Bloom despite being a Sunkern, is a fairly head strong girl willing to speak her mind. She trained her body far pass what her species is normally capable of- which really isn't saying much because she's still a Sunkern. She likes to jumprope in her spare time sometimes to be athletic. She's here to give it her all in this game, explore the outdoors, and win the money.
(Introduction Confessional) “I’m Bloom, and I’m here to rock this game like you’ve never seen! Don’t let my puny size fool you, I’m one of the STRONGEST Sunkern back home, despite still being in high school! Even if I’ll be graduating soon, haha. I’m not someone you wanna mess with, because I’ll take everything you throw at me, and throw it right back at you with a little more on top to really mess you up! Seriously, I’m here to play the game, go on an immunity tear, and win in the end! Smaller mons like me have done it before, like Tracey! Only I’ll be winning based off my strength rather than my cunning!”
(Answering a Question at Tribal Council) “We just weren’t prepared for the challenge! I mean, with me, Aqua, AND Alexandra, I figured we were gonna steamroll the competition, but I guess everyone has to go to tribal council at some point!"
(Confessional in the Voting Booth) "I'm voting for you tonight Nyra. Everyone else doesn't like you for your whining and flip-flopping, but I just don't like how weak you are!"
Savar Tribe (She/Her)
Like a canine, she's brave, courageous, and loyal to a fault, at least on the surface. Her brave and courageous nature comes from being trained to never show weakness, using a mask of confidence to assure others she is capable of defending them in any type of scenario, whether she's scared or not, because it is her duty. If she can't do that, she's worthless. Her loyalty too comes with being unable to determine who is worthy of being loyal to, a lot of that having to do with her background, being abandoned on the doorstep of a Kalos Firehouse as a young pup. She's always wondered what love actually feels like, her only knowledge on it up to this point in life coming from romance flicks she watched growing up. She still doesn't know what actual love feels like, and is likely to take even the slightest bit of romantic interest too far! Her mask of confidence can fall at times, mainly if she's comfortable with someone, resulting in being a bit more arrogant regarding her strength and looks, and she can be a bit more playful, and even accidentally flirty. She's not very smart, an action first kind of gal. She gets a bit overexcited when learning new things, and can be stubborn when things don't go her way, not enough to lash out at others but enough to be angry with herself. She has a raging sweet tooth, and while she does struggle with her sexual orientation, it is undeniable that she finds herself far more interested in other women!
(Introduction Confessional) “Hey there, I’m Bow! I’m a proud firefighter that battles on the side of justice! If I see something wrong going on, I’m not afraid to step in and help whoever’s being victimized. That’s all about who I am! I’m strong as hell and loyal as can be, so of course I’d make a good ally in this game! But in turn, I expect my allies to be good mons as well. I don’t plan on working with assholes or meanies, like most mons that made it deep last season. Bullies beware, because I’m here to take you down and make Pocket Survival a safe wholesome game this season! Some of my co-workers argue I’m too selfless, but I’m just helping those that need help, I see no wrong in that!”
(Answering a Question at Tribal Council) "I want to vote her out because she's a BAD MON, host! She goes around snapping at everyone on the tribe to do what she wants, and she even WHACKED ME WITH A STICK when I said no! She's a bully, and undeserving of being here a day longer! She's gotta go!"

Savar Tribe (She/Her)
Everyone Diana knows, her family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances, hell everyone in this game has two words to describe Diana! Hot. Mess. She's a pretty stereotypical basic girl, pre-loaded with all the hottest gossip and most opinionated nature someone can have! She will tell it like it is whether you like it or not. All of that being said, she is prone to manipulation pretty easily! She's the type that may try to take charge of a group quickly, yet be manipulated to turn on them for little, maybe even NO benefit! She's heard it a thousand times, but she owns it. She's a hot mess.
(Introduction Confessional) “I’m Diana! I’m like, super stoked to be here! I’m gonna be a force in this game from minute one, let me tell you! I’ve seen the other two seasons with my friends and we all tried to guess who would do the best if they ever got on! It was weird though, all my friends said I’d be the worst out of them! They called me a hot mess and said it’d be a miracle if I made merge! Thankfully I’m here to disprove that right here and now! I’ve got a lot of plans and strategy in mind that’s gonna take me far in this game, no one’s gonna see it coming from me! I’ll play this game so well that I won’t even have to backstab mons, I’ll be front stabbing them and they’ll still vote for me to win in the end. Because I’m the best out here!”

Savar Tribe (He/Him)
Goliath is an Extroverted dude. He's always full of energy and can sometimes be too much to handle for others. He doesn't have the greatest sense for other's strengths and weaknesses, which can cause him to overestimate others and try and push them to do things past their limits- Like a Hype man with a bad read on you. If he is informed about mistakes of his, he is very willing to apologize, but he will likely not notice himself without being outright told so. His favorite things are eating, and running around / exercising to burn off those calories he somehow manages to fit into his tiny body. Despite being a Joltik, which usually like to feed on electricity, he doesn't like it very much. Thinks it's too spicy (he is self-conscious about this). He'd rather get energy from elsewhere.
(Introduction Confessional) “The name’s Goliath, and I’m super hyped to be here! Ever heard of ‘The Joltik that could out-eat a Snorlax’? That’s me! My stomach’s like a black hole so it’s no surprise that I can eat eat EAT! That’s what I’m known for, but it’s not all I’m about! I think a lot of the other mons are gonna underestimate me because of that, they’re gonna see me as a little bug that just eats, but they’re in for a surprise when I come out guns blazing and show them all! The only thing I’d say I’m worried about is the food situation, with a big stomach comes big hunger, so not being able to eat as much is going to be tough on me. A innovator, a go-getter, a frog who has no idea what he's doing but isn't going to let that stop him! Cheery and optimistic, refusing to let failure after failure after failure after failure after failure after failure after failure after failure after failure stop him. Living a liferemoved from consequence has left the consequences he'd experienced in the past few years ineffective in imparting lessons of any kind to him. His quick decision making and eagerness to seize opportunities is done without any regard for what those opportunities actually are or the effect they'll have on anyone, including himself. Despite his chipper demeanor and general aura of sunshine that can trick people into thinking he knows what he's doing, at his core he is indifferent to anyone who isn't himself, impatient to show everyone how great he truly is, and generally, not that bright.

My friends say my confidence doesn’t match my skill level, but they don’t know what they’re talking about! I’m gonna crush this competition and head home with a million bucks! I mean, I have to! I’m the best option here and the only one deserving of it! It helps that I really need the money after Father cut me off, but that’s besides the point! I usually threw on seasons of this show for the kids I was babysitting, but one of them dared me to audition so I did, and I guess I did good enough to be out here so, yay me? I’m still not 100% sure how to go about this whole game, like I would literally just zone out when the kids were watching. That doesn’t mean I’m not gonna try and find out though! I’ll try my hardest to do something out here, anything!”

He’s incredibly commanding expecting respect above all, but in return to all he trusts he will be there for up until it no longer supports him. He does his best to make sure no one finds out that he will drop them until its too late. He is also super quick to rage and get defensive except for when he’s tricking someone except he’s also still hotheaded so he will still go off if you truly disrespect him.
(Introduction Confessional) “My name is Raine, and I’m an artist. Don’t think that means I’m some type of fruity or eccentric personality, because in this game I will be a leader above all. My tribe should be happy to have me, because under me, they will be lead to success, no matter how incompetent they may be. My strategy is to gather a large alliance and lead them to the end, even if they’re kicking and screaming the whole way there. I will be the single most dominant pokemon in pocket survival history.”

Amber is a famous actress, and she won't go a single conversation without letting anyone else know. She's pretty snobby and self-obsessed, very ego-driven. Everything has to be about her, how it impacts her, how she can get further in the game, etc.. She isn't quite as famous as she believes, adding a bit to some delusion. As a young Vulpix she was a child star, playing Bethany Swindle in hit show "The Little Things". She was Paldea's Little Darling! She still considers herself A-list, but her more recent roles revolve around victims in mid-quality slashers and 1-2 episode appearances in some shows. She's hit a bit of a lucky break recently as the on-screen friend of the protagonist of "Precious Purrloin Takes on High School", though there has been speculation that she slept with the director to get the role.

I mean, I need no introduction after all, but for anyone that’s been too poor to own a television up until this point, I’m Amber, though you’ll know me as Bethany Swindle from The Little Things! Paldea’s little darling they called me! Yes, I’m aware it’s been 20 years since that show aired, and I was a Vulpix and still a child at the time, but I’m still Paldea’s darling in the hearts of millions! I’ve taken a step back from the major roles by now, the spotlight has been grand to me but I’ve needed a little break from center stage. That’s why you see me now as Hannah, best friend of the Purrloin Mariyah in Precious Purrloin takes on High School. That’s also why I’ve joined Pocket Survival, to give this show a big boost in star power that it’s so desperately needed. When my agent got the recruitment call, he was practically begging I take the role and show the world who Amber really is on the inside, and come out on top.”

She considers herself a nice girl... okay not really, and someone that can live on her own, but realistically, she's anything but that. She dorms up with a girl in college and practically lives on her head. Did I say practically? I meant literally. Her friend is very popular, and she is just an accessory to her. It's gotten Comf used to the comfort of being worn, it's like home to her, and she considers her roommates friends, her friends! She can be a bit cynical and self-deprecating, not one to actively pursue friendships or relationships due to the belief that she would just ruin them.
(Introduction Confessional) “Okay hiiii, my name is Comf! I’m a nice girl… okay not really, but I do try my best to get along with others! I’m pretty popular back at my uni, but that’s because my much more popular roommate likes to wear me as a headband! I mean, you do you girl but I’ll take some of that popularity too, thank you very much! Uhhh yeah! I’m here to prove that I’m not just my roommates accessory, I’m strong willed and can win this all on my own! You better believe I’ll be fighting petal by petal to the bitter end to take home the crown!”

Hayden is a more laid back and approachable mon, who seems pretty unassuming at a glance. He's generally kind, though seems a little on the shy side. When there's trouble though, he gets his game face on and everything changes. He is stoic and strong in the face of danger, granted that comes with his job, using his powerful ears to locate pokemon in trouble, especially during major emergencies like fires or tsunamis. He had single handedly saved the lives of over 100 Pokemon by finding them and bringing them to safety. When there isn't trouble, he isn't very strong, but knowing something is wrong his senses just kick in and he goes all out.
(Introduction Confessional) “I’m Hayden, and I’m an emergency services echolocator. See, I live in a small country, probably only a little bigger than this island, and we live in a turbulent region of the world. For about eight months of the year, we’re in disaster season. Natural disasters happen frequently during this time and are devastating. That’s why I took up my job, I can locate those in trouble using echolocation and save them! I’m not the biggest looking mon, but I’ve pulled mons bigger than me out of fires or tsunami’s. It’s just, this adrenaline just kicks in me when I sense danger, and that’s why I think I’d be a great fit for pocket survival! Of course, I only auditioned once knowing it would be filmed outside of disaster season, I’m one of the only mons in my country filling this role after all. But yeah, I’m ready to kick ass out here!”

Katrina is a very blunt and impulsive person who is quick to anger and carries the strongest grudges. She’s professional enough to keep her mouth shut when it comes to talking about her grudges. Due to her very untrusting nature, she tends to come off as very self centered and bitchy. Katrina is a young woman who is passionate and very skilled in the art of Pokémon performing. Starting at a very young age, Kat was forced to partake in contests to keep her single living lifestyle intact. Due to her insanely petty grudges, Katrina tends to sabotage her competition, usually sending them to the hospital. When she holds a grudge, she’ll make sure to give you hell. Because of her skills and profession, she’s surprisingly agile and graceful.

Skye's personality can be explained by one simple word: LOUD. As a Stadium Announcer, they are always projecting their voice to make things sound exciting! They are known for being the top Stadium Announcer in the country, hell maybe even the world! Unfortunately, they are not as pleasant to be around in person, pertaining to screaming a lot and not really having the best language. They are fluent in wildspeak though, otherwise known as grunts and shouts and such! Their constantly-elevated voice may get annoying as time goes on, but they actually have a really sweet personality and know how to get along with people outside of their screaming. They aren't very strategic or smart though, unless the topic of conversation is the ins and outs of Pokeringer offense and defense, they are an absolute trivia nut in that case!

Garchomp is a land shark who walked into society one time and got mistaken for a guy named Steel. Since Steel (the actual guy) was a horrible person and a bit of a mess, everyone in his life just assumed that he had finally snapped and went full on feral and primal. The new Steel is an aggressive shark that acts purely on animalistic instinct. Despite being a blood thirsty killer, Steel doesn’t usually attack others unless provoked or consuming blood. The sight, smell, and taste of blood makes him more aggressive and feral. Being feral, he literally can't talk in actual words, mostly instead rambling in shouts, growls, yaps, snarls and jabs!

Thacher is cold and unmoving. He speaks in a low voice that holds a slight air of authority, and goes out of his way to speak in large words, refusing to elaborate on what they mean. He enunciates his speech, an example being "I would rather not touch that" instead of "I wouldn't touch that". As a corporate lawyer, his job is all about protecting corporations, so he will do his best to protect himself in this game. If there is a downside, it is his lack of social skills or even genuine empathy. Every round is a chance for him to put himself in the best spot possible, with little care for how that affects anyone else on his team. He'll lie only if it benefits him, and he is brutal, not the type to cut words. He can verbally jab you so hard you'd need a dictionary just to know the true strength of his insults.
(Introduction Confessional) “My name is Thacher, and I am a corporate lawyer employed under the Syl-Tech corporation. I applied for the show Pocket Survival under the expectation of enhancing my abilities for acting in defense of Syl-Tech in regard to lesser pokemon taking legal action against the company. As I am Syl-Tech’s highest-regarded legal counselor, I already find myself in the highest skill bracket, so improvement is unlikely to occur, yet possible. I must admit however, that my position within Syl-Tech has grown… rather dull. I also sought out a competition as an opportunity to flex my abilities without the entirety of the Syl-Tech corporation being at risk for me doing so. For those reasons, I have auditioned and promptly been cast to prove my meddle and utterly devastate the competition, so I may stand victorious.”
