Sunshine's Daycare (horror visual novel game)
Project Overview
Sunshine Daycare is our upcoming single-player horror visual novel indie game.It will throw you into a world of imagination with colorful characters! You will play as someone trying to find the missing children and the dark secret hidden inside Sunshine's Daycare! Be careful; each choice will bring you different endings in the game! Will you be able to find out the truth and survive? Or will you be forgotten like the others?
Sunshine Daycare has no shortage of jumpscares, scares, scary moments, and terrifying monsters. Still, it will show you what the inside of Daycare will look like! There are many rooms, like hidden lore and many easter eggs. Will you be able to explore it all?
While taking inspiration from other horror game titles such as Doki Doki Literature Club, Andy Apple's Farm, The Crooked Man, Death Mark II, and more, this game hopes to create a new, fun experience for all!

Mr. Sunshine is the main Deuteragonist of the story; with his smile, kindness, and love tours everyone, he can get away with one of the most terrible crimes of all time in history. He is good at hiding his true feelings and goals from anyone, not making anyone suspicious of him. Alongside his wife, they both are evil people who have done unforgivable things behind closed curtains. Mr. Sunshine can play tricks on his victims and others, for he only focuses on his goals and his entertainment. He finds everything as a game, enjoying his sweet time before he strikes. Be careful; you don't want to get him upset if you disobey his rules and order.
Mr. Sunshine's voice headcanon is something like the Pumpkin Rabbit from the Walten Files. (the idea, at least)
P.S. If you want to give him an accent! It will be British! If not, then that's fine! (Remember, you are welcome not to do accents; it's just an idea!)

(Laughs) This was really fun... This game of hide and seek. Oh... I love it when they run and hide from me; it makes this so much fun... But now. It must come to an end, little one... I had fun with you, and now... I am going to tear, cut, and rip you to shreds... You should know by now that I always win... Now... Say goodnight, little one..."
" (Calm and threatening) Have you heard...? Ms. and Mr. Sunshine are very, very, very, bad people... (Laughing a bit) Those children... All of those children. They were all adorable, so innocent and naive... Now, I wonder what your scream is going to be like... I will find out soon, but right now~ Let's play a game... Hide... And seek... Now... Start hiding...~"
CHERRY POMPOM'S INFORMATION
Cherry PomPom is one of the caring and loving sweethearts working alongside the others in Sunshine's Daycare! Cherry is in charge of one of the rooms, and her role is Baking and Cooking! As you can see, this daycare has a lot to do, so adults and kids can be entertained! Cherry Pompom spends time with her family, friends, and boyfriend, Blossom Suki! She is also very outgoing and wants to ensure she follows the rules, for she doesn't like getting yelled at. She does her best to ensure everyone is happy and well~!
Cherry PomPom voice headcanon/voice idea is Fluttershy from MLP, but you are welcome to try something else~! Accents are welcome!

(gulp) ...Y-Yeah, I promise, Mr. Sunshine. I- (pause again, then her voice gets softened) ...Yes, sir. I promise that won't happen again..."
BLOSSOM SUKI'S INFORMATION

Blossom Suki is a welcoming, caring, gentle soul to everyone around him. His role in daycare is that of a medic. With his power, he can heal or check on anyone who is unwell or has gotten hurt. If you ask, he can also summon plants or a small tree and is happy to show people what he can do! He also loves spending time with his girlfriend, Cherry PomPom. He is also good at combat when needed, though it's rare for him to get into fights! He is also a good listener if you need someone to talk to!
Blossom Suki's voice headcanon/voice idea is a Japanese accent and a semi-high male pitch. Again, this is just an idea to help out!

Orange Cottony is a strange woman. No one knew where she came from, but this artist loves drawing and teaching kids how to make art! Orange's role in daycare is painting, crafting, and art! Her room is filled with colors, and she is happy to show and share what she is passionate about! And she loves to put the kids painting on the wall when they want to share their talent with her! Orange has a hard time speaking, but she is a good listener! Orange can also summon fruits from her arms if you ask!

Sunny Daisytany is a Mantis/Sunflower, and they are... Interesting. Once was full of sunshine and outgoing, to a broken and insane monster. They used to be in charge of the garden and nature with the children in their own room until Mr. Sunshine locked that away from the other. Leaving them alone and drove into madness. Many don't know much about them, but people complain that they can hear knocking or scratching noises in the "Nature and Garden" room. Sunny still has that friendly tone, but if you make them snap, something bad might happen to you or anyone who dares to enter that room even after it is "closed" due to "errors."

Musi also secretly likes to listen to music like Heavy metal and country, which takes so many people off guard. They are also pretty chill, just as long you don't annoy them and listen to their music.

Hoppi Bunni is the youngest in the daycare but is filled with happiness and positivity, just like his dad! Hoppi's role in the daycare is to look over the children in the "Funhouse"/playground! He mostly loves coming up with games, playing with the children, and having fun! He always wears the bag his mother gave him. He can pull almost anything he thinks of, thanks to his mother's power, which she used to tour that bag he held close to him! This bunny is always ready for adventure and new games if you want to play! Hoppi is also super close to Orange Cottony, as he grew a massive crush on her!

Hunter West is a scorpion who is a severe and strict man who takes his job too seriously. Hunter's role in the daycare is the "timeout" room, the "Wild Wild West" room. His room was filled with many cowboys and Southern themes that the children and even adults who break the rules would go to "jail" and think about what they had done. His room is also where children can play games with him and enjoy the vibe of being a cowboy! Hunter may be severe, but he does have a big soft for the kids he spends time with and sometimes adults, too, if they are good and earn his respect! Don't get him mad, though; his tail can be deadly if he stings you or his strong arms are ready to knock some sense into you if you make him mad!
Hunter West's voice headcanon/voice idea is boothill honkai star rail (just an idea), also a southern accent male voice!
