Role: "Stella is the protagonist. She joins the G.P.F. on an attack on space pirates to reclaim a stolen treasure, the Teardrop Diamond."
Personality: "Stella is snarky, brash and rude, especially to those she doesn’t respect. However, that doesn’t mean she can’t be humble or sincere. She will try to avoid conflict if she can help it, but if her enemy insults her or is beyond reasoning, she won’t hold back."

"Yeah, sure, whatever. So if we’re fighting space pirates, does that mean they’ve stolen some kind of treasure or something?"
"Ooh, looks shiny. Must be pretty expensive for us to be chasing it down."
*sarcastically* "What was that? Couldn’t hear you, starting up my engines."
Age: 48
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Personality: "Torkin is a firm, disciplined military man who takes a no-nonsense approach to his missions. After adopting Stella, though, he began to slightly lighten up. He generally tries to stay serious when speaking to Stella, but he can often succumb to her jokes and ribs by comedically overreacting."

"Ahem...I called you here because we have a situation. We’re about to head out on a minor sortie. General Gustav saw the results of your examination yesterday, and he was rather impressed. He’s stated that he’d like you to come with us on this mission, get your ears a little wet with some actual combat."
"Indeed. This is not some mere shiny trinket; this diamond is crucial for the survival of a civilization. Seeing how they are under our protection, it is our duty to retrieve it at all costs."
"Attention unidentified units! We have reason to suspect that you are in possession of stolen property! By order of the Galactic Protection Force, we command you to halt your vessels and allow a full search of your premises as well as the surrender of any stolen goods!"

"Ha! As if we’ll surrender any of our haul to some nosy rats who can’t even guard their own stock! Boys, don’t hold back! Let’s show them what we’ve got!"
"Yar har! Steady as she goes!"
"What’s this? A little girl? Ha har! These whelps are even more pathetic than I imagined if this is all they can muster!"
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Personality: "Jean can be best described as a lighthearted trickster. He fashions himself as a cat burglar; he doesn’t engage in space battles, but instead swoops in like a vulture to steal treasure at the most opportune moment, which is helped by the unique warp drive installed in his ship. He also comes across as a wannabe casanova"
Role: "Primary antagonist, but not a villain. Is being chased throughout the story, but the protagonist engages in combat with others while Jean flees"

"Hello, hello, hellooooo...what have we got here?"
"Stella, eh? A charming name befitting a charming woman. Ah, but I fear our meeting will have to be put on hold. As much as I would love to make your acquaintance at a much more...personal level, I’ve got some work to do."
"Oof! A feisty one! But our dance will have to wait for another day. Au revoir, ma cherie."
