Every Saturday we practiced improvising realistic song structures and lyrics, scenes, how to rhyme and harmonize on the spot, and how to create flashy, fully improvised musical numbers.
Over six weeks, we learned how to “give gifts,” embody emotions, concoct scenes using suggestions and physicality, and tap into our ability to play. I had a blast working with such talented people.
