Star Wars: Knights of Zakuul Film Series - Supporting Role Recast
Project Overview
A Source Engine (Specifically Garry's Mod) animated movie series, telling the tale of Pureus, a Knight of Zakuul under the Eternal Empire thousands of years before the battle of Yavin.
This project was originally birthed from the 2017 short film "The Price of Promise". The story seen in that film is set to be reconstructed to fit into the larger plot it has now been written into. Characters have been redesigned since the making of that film and it is within hope that it can be done with like minded people.
This series is in no way a comedy, parody or plagiarism of any existing story. This story is written to captivate audiences who appreciate a meaningful, inspiring and dramatic plot line. Because the universe was obviously not an original concept, this project is not for financial profit. However, those who participate may find themselves gaining much in the way of Voice acting talent and credibility. Anyone can voice for comedy, but putting emotion and strength into your words is what can earn you great recognition.
The three part series is composed in this order:
- Prince of Knights
- The Price of Promise
- The Price of Revenge
I wish to emphasise that there will be no political spotlights in this series as modern life has no place in fanatical stories. That said there will also not be any exclusion on anyone from this project based on their identity. Only their capability as a voice actor/actress.
Those who prove themselves best suited to each character from the demo lines we have provided will be invited to a discord channel hosted by the director. From there they will receive access to the script(s) relevant to the selected characters.

Unrelenting, mildly conflicted and not scared of power. Longing for the rank of Grand Admiral at any cost, disregarding basic human rights in the process. Fierce on his Lieutenants when a weakness is shown and has no love for the sith, especially Darth Vader. His booming voice incites fear and discipline to the troops wherever he serves and spares no thought for insubordination besides certain death. He even secretly hopes the sith will commit a form of treason in even the smallest degree, where he can have the pleasure of issuing their order of execution.
“You told me this moon was as barren as the dune sea, Captain! That no primitive life forms exist that would be aggravated by our presence here!”
“Lord Vader, I’m afraid we cannot wait for Lord Vespire’s resolution.”

Sturn, directive and oppressive. Stands for absolutely no nonsense and makes it known as much as he deems it necessary. Borderline misogynist, bears the pride of a rank larger than his own and follows protocols in such a way that anyone would think a promotion is upon him at any moment.Only letting his prisoners live under the condition that they realise he is in control and the sheer weight of the fact.
“Your assigned droid will fill you in on all the relevant details of your assignment. I haven’t time to bother with questions so put on the correct uniform and remember that any funny business is being monitored at all times.”
