Must be 18 or older to audition. Star Palace deals with mature content such as sexual suggestions and appeal, dark themes, violence, and also explores difference concepts of mental health. - Communication is key. While I expect things to be done in a timely manner, I am also very understanding when life events get in the way. If something happens, I need open communication about it. If I need to go chasing you down for your lines, the character will be recast.
AUDITION RULES
- Audition for each character with 1 file. Record all lines in 1 audio track.
- Record up to 2 variations of each line. I want to see your range. Please ensure that the 2 takes don't sound the same.
- Check the audition volume. Make sure it is loud enough for me to review your performance.

“We bought you. No more kids, no more patients, no more hospital. You got it?” - Use a frustrated tone, really trying to drive a point home but too tired to really have too much emotion put into it.
“We’re going to leave your medical programming just in case we have any emergencies on site. You’ll be able to take care of the guests or staff until paramedics arrive. I don’t think you’ll be using it much, though.” - A droll explanation, with the emotion of wanting to get this done as soon as possible so she can go home for the day.
“Just call me Doc. Everyone else around here does. Why should you be any different?” - Let some bitterness seep into these lines. She has a nickname, she uses it, but there's an obvious distain for it. Let the last line sound as though she's saying it under her breath.

1. "What about this one?" - Legitimately curious tone with a hint of excitement.
2. “I thought you said it was off.” - Quiet with soft terror. Something just happened that shouldn't have, and he feels the need to hide behind his clipboard.
3. "I could learn these things if she would just give me a chance. Book-learning isn't how I do things. I need to get my hands in there! I need to do and feel! She just doesn't understand." - Sad with a hint of desperation. He REALLY wants to be able to learn these skills, but he's being blocked by an outside force who is unwilling to help him.
