SpongeBob SquarePants - ANIMATION VS ANYTHING Rap Battle Role
Project Overview
I am looking for an adult male voice actor to play SpongeBob Squarepants in an upcoming episode of my webseries ANIMATION VS ANYTHING (SpongeBob vs Captain Underpants). ANIMATION VS ANYTHING is a rap battle series, inspired by Epic Rap Battles of History but with a much heavier focus on characterization, exploration of different music styles, and characters from modern pop culture as opposed to history.

This is a paid opportunity - I'm offering $200 USD for the role, including retakes within reason as well as extra "backup vocal" takes to add emphasis to certain lines in the mix. The role features 28 lines in total, or around 1 minute and 30 seconds of total rapping time. To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Have a decent microphone and be able to provide clean .wav files with little to no natural reverb or background noise
- Be capable of doing an impression of Tom Kenny's SpongeBob
- Be able to follow a pre-recorded demo track and replicate the tempo and flow of the lyrics in this voice
- Be willing to provide retakes within reason if requested, as well as certain extra takes of specific lines for emphasis
You will be asked to record your SpongeBob impression's take on two of the lines from the final script, as well as a sample of yourself rapping something of your choosing in this voice. It need not be complicated or super fast - I just want to gauge how well you can imitate pre-written flow and if you have any past rapping experience.
I will be following up with several of the auditions and giving them a chance to audition with the full proper script and demo before making my final decision. I am looking for high-quality work and will likely be picky about minute details.

Looking for an energetic, wacky and flexible take on Tom Kenny's classic SpongeBob. Must be accurate to the character's mannerisms and general vocal tone. Must enunciate clearly while maintaining the voice.
