Sonic Riders Tournament Edition - Future Characters + Vocalist Needed

Project Overview

Seeking out long-term talent for Sonic Riders Tournament Edition-related projects.

Sonic Riders Tournament Edition (SRTE) is a large scale fan made modification of Sonic Riders, a 2006 tony hawk style racing game featuring the iconic character. I have been spearheading development of this project for 7 years, running and managing a large team of talented volunteers. This team is comprised of programmers, artists, 3D modelers, graphic designers, musicians, content creators, and more! Now we are looking to open up a space to acquire vocal talent as adding new characters more frequently is a feasible prospect.

Talent must have decent audio equipment. An entry-level condenser setup should be sufficient. This means a mic that uses an XLR input to plug into an audio interface, then a USB cord that goes into your pc.

Talent must be able to take live direction. It's not like we are going to be doing hour-long table reads, but I want you to be able to work with me if the situation calls for it. (Example: I need any lines redone and I'd like to go over the delivery in a discord call or something.)

Talent must have a PayPal... so I can pay you.

This is less of a necessity but more a preference, if you have a discord, that would be the best way to host live direction, learn about what you are working on, and meet you in general.

  • The next frontier!

    Hey guys! I want to say that I am grateful for massive amount of interest shown in the Sonic Riders Tournament Edition project. With nearly 200 auditions, this casting call page has become far larger than expected. We appreciate you lending us your talent!

    I will be extending the deadline.

    SRTE currently boasts over 10 additional characters from the original Sonic Riders. With more to come, we will inevitably need more voice talent involved. Some characters lack official voices to utilize or aren't applicable enough for the transition to Riders. So while our singer for the cover songs has been cast, the two voice acting roles will remain open for a couple more weeks. We will take time over the next several months to solidify plans for upcoming characters and contact individuals who submitted auditions on this page for further auditioning. We may even contact other singing audition as we may want them to try auditioning for other roles.

Even though these songs were originally sang by dudes, we'd like to give everyone a shot. If you've got a feminine voice and don't think you'd fit these heavy rock songs, try it. If the talent and audio quality is there, we are open to anything.


We are looking for this role asap so we may cast before the deadline. The payment is $100 per song so it is possible that two different people can be cast.
