Shortform animation drama project
Project Overview

We are an indie production passionate about creating shortform anime. This is one of our first projects and the creative direction will be done by an excellent director from an animated show on Hulu.
We want to be respectful upfront about this project's rates of $30/hr and want to work with voice actors on long term with many projects in the pipeline.
The project may take anything between 3-20 hours depending on number of characters and lines provided. There will be opportunities to work on simultaneous productions.

Context: The young girl, initially terrified and confused by her decaying body, begins to fight back as the villain taunts her. With the hero’s help, she gains strength and finds hope, leading to a moment of triumph.
Character Breakdown:
•Young Girl: Starts off vulnerable and afraid but gradually gains inner strength and confidence, ultimately finding relief and comfort in the hero’s presence.
•Villain: Deep, menacing, and mocking. He tries to break the girl’s spirit but fails as the hero intervenes.
•Hero: Calm, confident, and reassuring. The hero inspires hope and drives the villain back, bringing the girl closer to a moment of triumph and relief.
Script:
Young girl / boy:
1. “What’s happening to me? My body… it’s falling apart! Why is this happening? Am I dying?”
2. “I don’t understand… everything feels wrong… I’m so scared.”
3. (voice trembling) “Please… someone… anyone… help me!”
4. (pauses, shaky but growing firm) “No. I can’t let this break me. I won’t let you win.”
5. “I’m not afraid anymore. This is my fight, and I will take back control!”
Villain:
1.“Look at you. So fragile. So desperate. You finally see the truth.”
2. “Your body is merely a shell, a vessel for my power.”
3. (chuckling) “Struggle all you want—it’s pointless. You’re mine now.”
4. “Hope is for fools. You’re already too far gone, little one.”
5. “You think you’re in control? You’ll never escape me!”
Hero
1. “Don’t listen to him. You’re stronger than you think.”
2. “Stay with me. You’re not alone in this fight, I promise.”
3. “I won’t let him take you. We’ll break this curse together.”
4. “You’ve always had this strength inside you. Trust yourself.”
5. “You’ve won, not me. Your fight, your victory—believe in that.”
