Seeking Tails VA for Future Projects!

Project Overview

Hello! I am officially seeking a Tails VA to assist me in my projects! The person chosen will appear in all of my projects concerning Tails, including the audio drama series, comic dubs, live streams (if I have any, which are rare!), etc.

Rules are as follows:

  1. Must have a decent USB/XLR microphone. I will not accept phone mics!
  2. Let's keep it professional. Only comment on others to encourage and/or congratulate the VA auditioning.
  3. Record your audition as raw and unfiltered, and do it in this format: AAA BBB CCC.
  4. No crude behavior. Again, keeping it professional here.
  5. Please let me know if you want feedback on your audition.
  6. I'm open to many different slants of Tails.
  7. Must have a Discord on hand. Don't forget to add it to your audition so I can add you if you are chosen. Otherwise, your audition will be rejected.
  8. Have fun! Don't be nervous. Look at this as a chance to grow!

  • Tails is now cast!

    Wow, wow, wow. Gosh, it was so hard to choose a Tails VA, but after much thought and listening, I've come to a decision. Please congratulate RioDies on landing the role of Tails for my projects! Very happy to be working with a talented VA! For those not cast, don't despair! I may have another casting call for other characters as the need arise, so just sit tight and watch for those casting calls! I hope the advice I gave on all of your performances helped you grow as a VA so you can work and improve on your craft! Thank you so much for auditioning, and I hope to see you in other projects as well!

  • Deadline for choosing pushed back again.

    Incredibly sorry about the delay! I was sick for a time. I will choose a VA for Tails early next month. In the mean time, hang in there and keep your fingers crossed!

  • Decision date pushed back

    Incredibly sorry for this announcement, but Jan 8th is a bit too soon for me due to work and other projects. I'll need a little bit more time to decide who will be Tails for me, so I decided to push back the date to Jan. 15. Thank you for understanding, and have a great day!

    Hello! I'm impressed a lot of you turned up to audition! One note for you all: If you submitted an audition on the 2nd of Jan and I provide feedback for you, you have until Jan 3rd to send me another audition incorporating the feedback in it. Jan 4-7th, I will go over your auditions, announcing the result on Jan 8th. Best of luck to you all!

Sonic's loyal buddy from the very start, Tails is an eight year old fox who loves to tinker and invent. A literal child genius, he acts mature for his age, accompanying his speedy friend as the straight man in most cases. Tails has his own plane, workshop, and home where he builds and tinkers. He has even been able to stand on his own against his intellectual enemy, Dr. Eggman.

For his voice, I'm open to any interpretation, but I prefer the slants these VA provide: Kate Higgins and Colleen O'Shaughnessey

  • (Encouraging) Don't worry, Amy! We've beaten Eggman countless times before! We can do it again!

  • (Sad) I...I'm sorry, Sonic. I-I wasn't able to get the data in time.

  • (Building up to frustration) Maybe if I changed the wires...but then the power won't be carried in the current very well...maybe I can try altering the...no, that won't work either! Ugggghh, this is hopeless!
