Project Overview

Introduction:

Hello! We are an enthusiastic group of SCP fans who affectionately call ourselves the SCP Peeps. United by our deep admiration for the SCP Foundation, we have come together as a close-knit team of artists. Our shared passion has driven us to embark on an exciting endeavor: the creation of a brand new SCP animated series exclusively for YouTube.

Overview:

The Offshoot is an animated comedy series that draws inspiration from the SCP canon and embraces the style of beloved mockumentary shows like The Office and Parks and Rec. Set in the fictional Site 19-S, an offshoot of the renowned Site 19, this hilarious series revolves around the housing and research of safe class SCPs. Alongside familiar canon characters, the show introduces a host of new faces to the mix.

At the heart of the story is Dr. Monica Grey, a bright and enthusiastic new researcher. As she delves into the realm of anomalies, viewers are taken on a captivating journey alongside her, exploring the eccentricities and challenges that arise within this peculiar new world. Get ready for a comedic adventure that blends the absurdity of SCP lore with the engaging mockumentary format, keeping you entertained and laughing throughout each episode.

Where are we in production:

At present, we are thrilled to announce that the pilot episode has been released, marking a significant milestone in our production. As we progress into further episode production, we are placing utmost priority on Artist roles for this project. We are actively seeking talented individuals to join our team and contribute their skills to bring our vision to life.

Payment:

We operate on a profit-sharing payment model, and payments are distributed at the beginning of every month. These payments are based on project revenue as well as the time dedicated to the project by our various team members. We are committed to creating an environment where talented individuals can thrive and be fairly rewarded for their contributions.

What to expect:

This project represents a significant undertaking for many of us, marking our first foray into a large-scale production. We kindly request your patience as we navigate this exciting journey and strive to establish an efficient workflow. We highly value constructive criticism and guidance from our new team members, as your insights and expertise will contribute greatly to our growth.

As we are well into production on future episodes, deadlines are of utmost importance to us. However, we will always maintain understanding and flexibility when necessary. We are committed to learning, adapting, and refining our approach to ensure that we deliver the best possible results.

What we ask of you:

  • Age Requirement: For all auditions, applicants must be 18 years old or above.

  • Team Player Mentality: We are seeking individuals who embrace teamwork and are willing to actively collaborate, share ideas, and actively participate in project-related discussions.

  • Respectful Attitude: Our team consists largely of queer and trans individuals. We expect every team member to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment. Any form of hate speech or discrimination will not be tolerated.

Unfortunately, our Casting Call link will remain unchanged as "Site 19.5" because we are unable edit it. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any confusion we have caused!

  • Age Requirement Note

Please note that our project has an age requirement of 18+. We kindly request that all applicants meet this age requirement. Regrettably, we will not be considering applicants who do not meet this criteria.
