Random Doom Comic Dub Project - Chapter 1: A Riolu is Born! Voice auditions
Project Overview
Aye guys, So for over 4 months, I’ve been planning to make this dub happen and with TamarinFrog’s permission for dubbing her series “Random Doom”, So now, I’m looking for some voices to bring those characters to life. And before you say anything, yes, I’m well aware of the other dubs that involves this series, but, I kinda wanted to make this feel a bit official.
Now, before you go start making your voice, I definitely recommend ya read the comic if ya haven’t:

Recommended Requirements:
1. Make sure your mic has little to no background noise.
2. Voice must be clear and audible.
3. Put effort into the character you're voicing. Be like that character, have feeling.
4. If you’re casted make sure that you are active and attentive on calls and such.
5. Feel free to try out different tones, accents, etc. on how you interpret the character.
6. For those whom have some musical talent, or you can try out the music section at the bottom of the auditions. And for those whom are willing to sing as a option, ya can qwq
7. You better atleast have a discord or deviantart account with ya, that way you can message me that way once your casted. The dub will be hosted on my discord server, those casted will receive a special invite. :3
And most important rule of them all, is remember to have fun!
I do have standards, so give it everything ya got.
And even, if ya didn’t get casted or didn’t get a chance too, there’s always more chances, so keep an eye out. ;3

Veruka is the unofficial leader of Elisa’s ranch. She takes her position seriously and does her best to keep everything in balance (with very little success). She is a proud and hardworking type and She is often seen training. Her closet friends are Rupert the Toxicroak and Vincent the Lucario.
Recommend voice:
I’d like to think she maybe serious but also caring for others no matter how silly they can be. Mostly because of the serious nature she has.

Vincent maybe a bit clumsy but he’s also a jolly and cheerful lucario. He loves to have fun and he rarely lets things bother him. Not even the fact that he is a lucario who can’t use his aura powers properly is enough to even bring his mood down. While he has never been that into battling, he has started to train to impress Veruka (whom he has a huge crush on.) and they are rarely seen apart. Thanks to his positive attitude, he gets along with pretty much almost everyone but his closest friend are Veruka and Rupert.
Recommend voice:
As the bio implies, I’d like to think he’s more of a positive kind of guy, even when things don’t go well for him. He can be a little silly at times. So I’d like to think positive when making up a voice for him.

You know Vureka... this night reminds me of the day we first met.
Of course! How could I forget...
Rupert has a quite carefree view of life and he’s never in a hurry to battle! Out of the trio fighting members, he is the most calm and he usually manages to keep his cool while his friends Veruka and Vincent lose it. Of course, this is as long as he have eaten enough of the sugar treats. Rupert loves sweet food and especially soft drinks. He is currently dating a famous lopunny named Vanilla, or.. so he says!
Recommend voice:
Try to feel relaxed a bit when making the voice, I’d feel like the pace of his voice is a little slow but mostly normal due to his relax nature.

I didn’t expect inner focus...
Being very modest about himself and his abilities, Ross prefers the company of his closest friends and tries to stay out of trouble the best as he can. But too bad that the trouble often finds him, usually in a form of his “little brother’s” games. Scratch the pachirisu and the other kids challenge Ross’ patience from time to time but he still happily watches over them. To help him with this task is his best friend, Saria the Leafeon. These two met when they were kids, and Ross has a huge crush on her but due to his shyness, he hasn’t been able to confess to her... yet.
Recommend voice:
Due to his nature, when he’s around everyone else, he can be caring to others and sometimes aggravated when things are annoying. But when he’s around Saria, he can be shy mostly. Make the pace in however ya feel like, but I recommend going at a normal pace sometimes.

Scratch might be young but he has more energy than most adult Pokémon! This hyperactive squirrel is always there where the action and having fun is his thing. He has a bit of a big ego and that he tends to boss around other young Pokémon, especially his best friends, Sibelius the chatot. He acts tough but deep down he is a bit naive and his choices aren’t always the best, meaning he he is young and he has still a lot to learn. He does see Ross as his big bro and usually listen to him. Usually...
Recommend voice:
Given through his nature, he can be energetic and be a bit bossy on younger Pokémon, but deep down he can be a bit naive and he does listen to Ross “usually”. So.. imagine being a little confident but also mischievous at times when making the voice. The pace mostly normal but a bit fast.

First.. it’s captain scratch, and second, I’m not afraid of some scary ghosts.
Okey big brother...
Napoleon is a tough guy and he rarely lets anyone boss him around. He enjoys battling and is a mighty force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately he has a bit of a short temper and that usually leads to his downfall in battle. He is a bit of a loner and doesn’t have the best social skills, but, this shows as him taunting and picking on others, even his friends. But that’s just his way to show he cares. He wouldn’t let his teammates get in danger, especially Cotton the shiny lopunny. She is Napoleon’s girlfriend and one of the very few Pokémon he likes to show his tender side.
Recommend voice:
As the bio implies, I’d like the voice to feel like a big guy don’t even care about the rules expect for his close friends and even Cotton. Also, the short temper, imagine feel angry like when something bad happened to ya. And of course, he’s also a caring guy to tho he does have his way to show. The pace is of course normal but, you can set the tone or pace to your hearts content.
(Also a disclaimer: the lines shown takes place in the past, so it’s recommended you read the first two chapters to better understand what’s going on ^^;)

Like I said.
Cotton is quite the peppy and energetic girl who is always to cheer you up, even when you don’t want her to. She wants to be friends with everyone but doesn’t always know the meaning of “personal space”. She never means harm with her actions but she may get upset if you ignore her. Despite her adorable appearance, she can give a nasty temper too and she doesn’t hesitate to punch you with dizzy punch if you insult her or her friends. She is is a dreamer type, likes pink and cute things and believes in love at first sight, which is how she fell for her mate, Napoleon the Floatzel.
Recommend voice:
She always like to become friends with ya and try to cheer up, even though you wanted some alone time. But she can also be angry when you try to insult her or her close friends. So given her nature being jolly, it’s recommend that you imagine feeling happy around your friends, sad when you feel ignored, or angry when someone insults you or anyone close. Pace can be recommended to be normal.

Matthew is a Pokémon who is owed by many other Pokémon and most of them consider him the strongest Pokémon in the ranch. He is a gentleman type and he has strong ethical views. Unfortunately however, he suffers from bad anger issues and can get very serious and even dangerous when battling. Which is the reason why Elisa decides that it was best for Matthew to retire from battling. H eventually accepts this decision and fights only when necessary. Many did respect him, but due to his violent history, he has only a few very close friends. His family consists of his half-brother, Marlowe the Togekiss and his nephew, Sibelius the chatot. Elizabeth the vespiquen is his closet friend, and he’s more than willing to protect them at any cost.
Recommend voice:
Tho he does have a serious nature within him, despite this, I’d sorta like to think of him as some wise guy considering he’s a gentleman. So.. it’s recommended that you feel like a gentleman but also feel real angry when things makes you angry enough. Pace.. it’s up to you.

Just like his father, Marlowe the togekiss, Sibelius has his heads in the clouds and he has a wild imagination. He is also very naive and believes almost anything you tell him. It is not hard to impress this chatot, which might explain why he admires his best friend, scratch the pachirisu. This duo is inseparable and cause a lot of trouble to their caretakers and other older Pokémon. Despite Sibelius’ mischievous side, he is the more well-behaving of the duo thanks to his father’s and uncle’s influence. Like most chatots, he is able to learn and speak the human language, but he learns them from the internet, thus he speaks English in lolcatty.
Recommend voice:
Like his friend Scratch, he can be mischievous but, he’s not the most energetic like him, and plus he’s more obedient due to his father’s and uncle’s influence in him. Pace is normal of course.
Scratch.. Are you sure that there are no monsters in here?

It is Best to stay away from Elizabeth, this vespiquen prefers to be left alone and she does not approve of any tomfoolery. She usually keeps her poker face on and rarely lets her emotions take over. She also rarely seeks the company of other Pokémon. The only exception is her closed and only friend, Matthew the Honchkrow. His good manners and more serious nature matched well with Elizabeth’s personality and they became very close and are rarely seen apart. She is usually quiet but is not afraid to speak up and tell her opinion. If she so chooses, she doesn’t sugarcoat and is not afraid to hurt others’ feelings. Her world view is very cynical.
Recommend voice:
Based on the bio, her personality matched with Matthew, but also lonely. So.. imagine having an only friend to talk to and also not afraid to speak.
(Also, dont forget that she has a French accent in the story.. so keep that in mind when making the voice)
Matthew.. Ve has zis feeling zat peaceful days are gone...
Enda is one mysterious being. This peppy ghost girl is morbidly curious and does everything in her power to find out all the secrets and latest rumors. She keeps all the information to herself but is happy to share it. If the price is right of course. Despite her fun loving and even slightly childish nature, she posses incredible chanting powers and is able to create very powerful spells and illusions. She uses these powers to “help” others and grant their wishes. But, they’re only temporary tho. No one was able to find out how powerful she really is. Some may even say they seen her talking to someone in another universe, tho enda has not admitted that. Maybe the potential of her powers is a secret she plans to keep to herself.
Recommend voice:
She can be a mysterious Pokémon, but due to her nature, she can be a bit sassy. It’s recommended to have any accent at any pace ya feel like is right for her.
Why so serious?
Behind the Pokémon, there is a trainer. Elsa is the owner of the ranch and the Pokémon who live there. She has retired from her trainer career and works at a day care ranch owner. Trainers can stay and their Pokémon can rest (and even breed) there. Elisa is very energetic and always ready for an adventure but she can also appreciate the quiet country life. She is a bit hasty with her actions and judgment though and this sometimes can get her into trouble. She can also be stubborn and hates being proven wrong. She is a proud person and takes pride in her work. Elisa loves and care a lot about her Pokémon and trusts them a lot. This is why she, lets them roam freely near the ranch.
Recommend voice:
As you would expect based on her bio, Normal pace but also caring despite not liking to be proven wrong.
