Hi! This is a fairly casual role needed for a Roblox game I'm working on. The character is an NPC that you can interact with and purchase items from (think Skyrim followers). In total, I'm not entirely certain how many lines are needed as the dialogue tree is still being developed but a good ballpark estimate is at maximum 30 minutes. Open to any voice types and accents, but the important thing is to be clear in enunciation. There is a high chance that I will be needing more voices for multiple other characters in the future, so don't hesitate to link a demo if you would be interested in that but aren't particularly interested in this specific character.
Specifications:
- All communication will be done through Discord. Please attach your handle with your submission so that I can contact you if selected.
- Audio quality is not of utmost importance, but it is certainly preferable if you have an XLR / USB Microphone.
- Please ensure there is little to no background noise, if you are able to do post-processing on your end that would save a hell of a lot of time.
Payment:
I'm not sure what a good amount for a role like this is as I am unfamiliar with VA rates, but as a broke college student I'm offering $60 upfront for the entire thing. This can be negotiated higher depending on the circumstances.
Sidenote:
As I continue to push out updates for the game it is highly likely that more lines will be required. As such, it would be very convenient if you would be available a few weeks to months from now in the future. If you have any further questions, feel free to shoot me a message on Discord @paratype. Additionally, given the fact that the dialogue is not fully setup yet, I am entirely open to a full character redesign in which you are in pretty much full control of the personality and dialogues between the character and users playing the game.
