Pokemon Red vs. Blue: The Musical
Project Overview
PLEASE READ BEFORE AUDITIONING:
Welcome to the Pokemon Red vs. Blue Musical! This project will follow two paths (Red and Blue's) as they take on their journey to become the champion. These will be known as the Red and Blue Packages exclusively. There is a plan to be about 40 or more songs by the end, so it will be a project I do expect you to commit to. DO NOT AUDITION IF YOU CANNOT COMMIT TO THIS PROJECT FOR A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME. More roles will come available as parts are written out. Feel free to DM me for extra information on these if you are interested.
So what exactly is the plot?:
The plot follows young Pokemon trainer Red and Blue as they face challenges like their rival and fighting against the evil forces of Team Rocket on their journey to become the Pokemon champion. They will have to collect the eight gym badges to gain entry to the Elite Four, where they will face their greatest challenge yet.
Important:
Do expect to sing when you audition for a Voice Acting role as many of these roles incorporate it into their dialogue. We are aiming to pull together a cast of characters to fill roles for this little passion project. Of course, it will be some time before the project is fully completed for recording to begin (about 2 months from now is the projected completion date for the script and all). To accomodate this, I will have all auditioners do a song of their choice in their character voice to guage their singing ability and encourage everyone to improve some lines. This will be a YouTube project and YOU MUST HAVE DISCORD FOR COMMUNICATION. And please, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

An energetic and impatient trainer, he likes to boast about his accomplishments and hates waiting. Despite his cocky attitude, he does love his Pokemon, even though he has a tough way of showing it. Red's Rival.

Yeah, I guess you could say I AM pretty cool. You should have seen this one time I kicked Red's butt and sent him home crying!

A professor of sorts who studies Pokemon, he is wise and knowlegable about the world and the Pokemon that inhabit it. He can be a bit stern and harsh at times, while other times he gets caught up talking about his younger days and his passion for completing his life's work: the Pokedex.
[warning, scolding tone]
Hold on! You weren't about to go out into the tall grass, were you?? Don't you know there are wild Pokemon out there?

An impatient youngster of a trainer, he prides himself in getting things done faster than his rival. He is a bit bratty and cocky at times. Red's Rival.

Known as the creator of the Pokémon PC Storage System, he's a rather friendly if not goofy type of person who normally gets himself into all kinds of trouble.

The gym leader of Cinnabar Island, don't mistake his age as a sign of weakness. He's serious and fiery when he gets riled up.

Living on an island isolated from society... It's a double-edged sword. You gain freedom from the masses, but you only drive yourself closer to the brink of madness.[One line of improv]
This rock type gym leader of Pewter City is normally a cool type. That doesn't mean that he doesn't get hyped up in a battle, though.

This fighting member of the elite four isn't just your typical trainer. He lives for the thrill of a good battle and welcomes all challengers.

Leader of the Celadon gym, she likes to use her gym as a way to escape the the bustling noises of the town to the north. She is a gentle type of person who doesn't mind a bit of mischief.

Oh, a boy- What are you doing here? [soft chuckle] Oh well, you did go through all the trouble to get here, so I guess I should make it worth the trouble.[One line of improv]
The ghost of a mother that died protecting her young, this restless being guards the tower summit of Lavender Town. They don't seem to realize they are dead and they are highly aggressive.

Mob boss of the criminal organization, Team Rocket, he is confident in his actions and finds amusement in those who try to face him since he knows his strength.
