The young protagonist whose goal is to win all Hoenn contests. He believes that beauty is the most important Pokemon characteristic. He claims that he has no interest in Pokemon battles.

A wild trainer, she has set her sights on conquering all Hoenn gyms. She runs around Hoenn, wielding a formidable power over nature.
"Ruby... I like you."
"What's going on?"

"Wallace! Over there!!"
"I NEED TO GO TO HIM!!"
Norman is the gym leader of Petalburg Gym, as well as Ruby's father.
"Yes."
"Yes, they're coming today. All the way from Johto."
She's just simply Ruby's mother, nothing special here qwq
"Hahaha... You really look good on TV, don't you?"
"C'mon! Come to the front, we'll watch together!"
"Hey Ruby! The van's stuck in the mud."
A sickly young man who is moving to Ever Grande City.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't feeling well..."
"My parents must have asked Norman not to teach me... Not to allow me to capture Pokemon by myself..."
"*puff puff...* Alright!... But is it okay to stay out this late..."
Just a simple news reporter. In the scene that she appears most relevant in, she is interviewing Norman.
"Dear viewers! Did you see that!!"
"He managed to defeat so many Pokemon at one go."
"Do you always train like this?"
"We hear that with your inauguration at Petalburg Gym, your family will be moving to Hoenn to join you."
She isn't present until the very end of v15 (the first chapter)
"If you're looking for the gym leader... Here I am!"
"I'm the gym leader of Rustboro, who graduated with the best results from the trainers' school in this city!"
"Oh yes! My specialty lies in rock-type Pokemon!!"
Birch is the professor of the Hoenn region. He's also a friend of Norman, the Petalburg gym leader.
"There you are! The nest of bug-type Pokemon—Wurmple!"
"Great! The purple was called Cascoon. I've gotta check out the name for the white ones!"
"Our families will gather for a meal tonight!"
Ruby's master. He has succeeded the Champion Cloak from Steven.
"What.. What's going on in that mind of his?!"
"Ruby and Sapphire have completed their training with Master Juan, and are back..."
"But why did Ruby trap Sapphire in my aircar and join forces with that woman from Team Magma?!"
"...Y-You're right!"
The Pokemon League Champion.
Steven is a kind, yet determined man. He searches the world for rare stones.
"My job is to search and collect such stones!"
"My Pokemon can detect the presence of the special stones, and they've been lying in ambush."
"Metang! Metagross!!"
A member of Team Magma. She appeared before Ruby for the final showdown.
Not much is known about this character from what I can see, she's really only there for plot development.
"You and me, partners for the battle."
"How 'bout it?"
What if... that cute girl becomes controlled by the jewel?" (She's teasing Ruby)
"I thought you were made of sterner stuff... Take a hike if you're having second thoughts!"
A member of the Elite Four. She, along with Glacia, Drake and Sidney are in Sootopolis, attempting to contain the destruction.
"Yup! I've realized that too!"
"Meaning to say, it's building up at an enormous rate! Where would the energy go if it has nowhere to disperse?"
"Only one direction -- upwards!"
A member of the Elite Four. She, along with Phoebe, Drake and Sidney are in Sootopolis, attempting to contain the destruction.
"This also means that we have another problem Phoebe."
"But the energy is accumulating as the battle continues..."
"Slowly but surely..."
Drake is a member of the Elite Four, and is in Sootopolis with the rest of the Elite, attempting to contain the destruction.
"They're not dubbed Hoenn's legendary Pokemon for nothing. But Sidney..."

Sidney is a member of the Elite Four, and is in Sootopolis with the rest of the Elite, attempting to contain the destruction.
"These three big guys have been going at it for ages... But man! They don't get tired, huh?"

Ruru is a Ralts that belongs to Ruby in the manga and is one of his starter Pokemon. Her characteristic is "hates to lose", and is used in Smart Contests.

Your job is (hopefully) simple. You're going to help edit the project! Don't worry, I won't overwork you. That's the main reason why I'm not choosing to do the entire manga, because it's simply too long and definitely should be done in small bits :-)
