Pesterquest Fandub
Project Overview
The Pesterquest Fandub is a Homestuck project dedicated to retelling the Pesterquest video game through a format of voice acting!
We are also looking for both VOICE ACTORS and VIDEO/SOUND EDITORS!
For voice actors- We have lines from the game that we'd like each audition to have! You can also throw in other lines, or repeat the given lines for show us different ways you may say it! Auditions should be at max 2 minutes and nothing more. Please make sure that your microphone quality is decent with minimal background noise. Optionally, voice actors may also link any existing voice reels they have. You may also audition for more than one role!
We will be setting up due dates and plans in regards to getting lines done within reasonable time frames, so make sure that you have the availability for participating in this project.
We have North American accents listed down, but this is due to Casting Call's limitations. There is no mandatory accent for any character!
Within auditions notes, for every applicant, be sure to add your name, age, and Discord and/or Social Media for the quickest source of contact if we are to choose you.
Discord WILL be our main source of communication and updates, and chosen applicants will be given access to our server.

The air is fresh and crisp--it's early spring, probably. You find yourself on the sidewalk in a suburban neighborhood, facing a neat, friendly house. A neat, friendly boy stands at the window on the second floor, looking down at you. At least... you hope he's friendly.

What the fuck! Are you serious? What kind of ending was that? Absolutely nothing got resolved!
You stand up so fast your chair falls over. Jesus Christ are you steamed. Maybe eventually with further thought you'll come to appreciate the thematic elements, but as of right now--you need to understand. What happened to dead John? What about Rose and Kanaya and their marriage? What about Terezi and Vriska!
NOTE: We'd like for you to repeat the lines twice if you have a different variation for how you will choose to voice Candy Dave! We are also looking specifically for 18+ y/o voice actors for this role!

We will be looking for help regarding splicing footage, recording footage, and providing communication with audio editors and moderators. We aren't picky on what you use to edit, but bare in mind that you will be working closely with audio editors for this responsibility, and will be needed during times of production. We will have more than one editor so we dont end up with one person doing everything, so no worries on that.
Note that if you have an examples of footage you've edited, that's a large bonus.
Say something you think would fit
We are looking for editors who can work on noise reduction, bass/tremble levels, cutting mistakes/outtakes, and possible SFX effects when it comes to the dub audio. We aren't picky on what you use to edit, but bare in mind that you will be working closely with video editors for this responsibility, and will be needed during times of production. We will have more than one editor so we dont end up with one person doing everything, so no worries on that.
Note that if you have any examples of audio editing you've done, that's a huge bonus!
