Project Overview
Paradox Live: A New Battle! is an volunteer based English fandub covering the audio dramas and songs of Paradox Live. This project is unpaid as of the CCC being listed, and is made by fans for fans.
Club PARADOX is suddenly back as the stage of the mysterious Paradox Live Battle, 10 years after the club's disappearance. Four units were invited to compete to win 10 billion yen worth of prize money and a right to challenge the legendary rapper unit called "Buraikan."These four groups, who are immensely popular with their respective genres, are BAE, The Cat's Whisker's, cozmez, and AkanYatsura. Each individual and as a team have their own reasons on accepting the invitation, and in order to prove that their own music is the number one, they participate in "stage battles."
Paradox Live: A New Battle! is a long term community involved project dedicated to making the series more accessible into English, through dubbing the 20-25 minute audio dramas, alongside covers of the songs released for the series. Our goal is to bring the community into this project by including the voting system featured in the original series, where the fans can vote for their favorite covers of our songs, just like the original -- Which will be renewed with it's own rewards/benefits, different to the original Paradox Live series.
This is the 2nd wave Casting Call for characters we could not cast during our previous CC.
"A New Voice" is a new fan-dub studio, having debuted with a comprehensive English 'Project Sekai' dub of not just in-game dialogue, but all songs and covers as well. With a strong and growing team of 50 people, it's gone on to garner a 5,000 strong YouTube following, amassing a small but dedicated fanbase. Of course, this constant output of quality content has only been achieved by the ambition and skill of it's directors. Owner of ANV and director of PRSK:ANV, eminms will be heading this project, with tigerjolteo and Chai co-directing alongside her and a new guest director; miiru - a heavy fan of the Paradox Live series.
That being said, here are our auditioning rules:
- Please be 16 or older.
- Make sure your microphone is clean, heavy reverb or static is not tolerated.
- Use your natural voice, or as close as you can get! You'll be singing in these character voices, so please make sure you're not straining yourself while doing so.
- Don't be afraid to make your own take of the character! We've listed the original Japanese voice to assist you, but don't feel the need to stick with it. Make these characters your own!
- You are required to submit samples of your singing when you audition, failing to do this will instantly leave you rejected.

Constantly nervous and have absolutely no self-confidence but, he excels at being able to recall any song and is a talented rapper. He's also easily scared when it comes to strangers. Despite this, Shiki is a kind person who worries more about others than himself.

Appears cheerful, always smiling, but has an unreadable face which conceals his true self. The strong leader of AKYR, who treasures the members like family members and has set his heart on creating a place for them. The boss of the host bar CLUB CANDY.

A man with a large and muscular body and a very straight-forward, passionate personality. He is bad at reading the atmosphere, but that is the main factor in keeping AKYR in order. Originally a police officer, and is passionate about working out.

Hokusai is often misunderstood, but he has a very gentle and kind-hearted personality. He has a great fondness for animals, especially cats, and shows compassion for his peers, often praising them or showing concern for their troubles.
Quiet with a mysterious atmosphere.

Satsuki often speaks in a rough tone, and fights with anyone and everyone he encounters. However, at his core, he is a kind-hearted young man who cares about the other members of AKYR who are like family to him.
He acts tough, but he's actually a very honest and good young man.

He's the lively member of AKYR. The type that shows all of his emotions on his face. His speciality is pushing work onto other people and is very sleek at it, obsessed with attention and being the cutest rapper out there. Has fun with bothering and making fun of Satsuki, often bickering together.
