Project Overview

Melon Media is a content creation group (not a company)

Melon Media prides itself on no necessary contracts for content creation within the group with clear and concise rules with unique quality controls in exchange, we provide help such as management, contractor/ and hiring help, as well as providing free and collaborative software and consultancy to help bring your content to life. We allow all content creators who apply to be able to have access to analytics and management of their content. MELON MEDIA TAKES NO CONTROL OF THE CONTENT POSTED. ALL CONTENT IS CREATED BY THEIR RESPECTIVE CREATOR UNLESS SAID OTHERWISE.

Here at Melon Media, we follow a couple of simple rules


  1. All members must be 18+


  2. Be reasonably respectful towards other people (this includes no racism homophobia or any other form of prejudice.


  3. No low level or low effort or lack of unique content such as unedited gaming content


  4. No copyrighted content (with reasonable exceptions for content such as machinimas)


We also provide management and other help such as


  1. paid casting call promotion


  2. Editing and content creation help recommend any software needed for content. (including help with thumbnailing, editing, and tagging of content if requested)


  3. Access to a melon media storage server with 16 TB of server space.


  4. Complete access to Melon media YouTube channel and analytics with approval of show running serialization.


  5. reasonable attempts for funding and promotion


  6. 10% profit share on melon media content creation with creators keeping 90% of the monetary gains from their content.


We do have some projects for which we would like showrunners. This would include managing the team and being able to create content.


  1. Melon Slice: a weekly news show centered around geeky subjects and pop culture: we are looking for a voice actress, video editor, and showrunner as well as some scriptwriters.


  2. Machinima series: this series can be completely controlled and written by the showrunner: we would need a manager, actors, and editors.


  3. Blender project: we would like to look into a blender-based show with 3d modeling. If you have a show idea and knowledge of blender hop on Board.
