Onibi: A yaoi visual novel
Project Overview
Onibi is going to be a yaoi visual novel about a guy befriending a group of creatures called Onibi.
What is an onibi?
An onibi is a mixture between a dragon, and a wolf. They all originated from the Florian forest. They’re ruled over by the queen. They have a feral form, a human form, and a form in between that they change to at will. Both male onibi and female onibi can lay eggs. Each color has a different job, and each job comes with a different kind of magic that helps them do this job. The color of the onibi is determined by the color of the egg.
This project will be out entry into Yaoi Game Jam 2020 as long as everything goes well! While we don't have any finished scripts yet, we would much rather get our voice actors now instead of later just for time sake.

NOTE: Logan will need a little bit of know how in voice editing, as his corrupt form has a corrupt voice to match.
Logan is one of the datable characters. He's a grey onibi who's magic is so immense that he can barely contain it in his body. Because of that he's cracking and chipping away.
He's a very misunderstood character who hasn't been dealt a good hand in life. He just wants to be listened too and liked.
He has a soft, mid-ranged voice with a New York accent.
[Sadly] Life's never been easy for me and it probably never will be. Every good thing that's happened to me in my life just gets pulled away from me. I don't want that to happen with you and I too...
[Angrily] Just leave me alone, okay? You don't know what it's like to have to live like this all the time. Stop comparing yourself to me!
[In his corrupt form] Finally, I'm free! No longer do I have to worry about hiding my powers! It doesn't matter what other people think anymore!
Yuuto is a green onibi. He works with animals and plants and keeps them healthy and strong.
He's a very motherly, kind, and caring guy who thinks more about others then himself even if he needs help.
He has a soft, sweet voice with a slight British accent. He always sounds kind of tired too.
[Happily] It's good to see you again MC, I've missed you. What have you been up to in your time away?
[Sadly] Aww, poor little guy, everything's gonna be okay. Yuu's got you, I'm here. There's nothing to be afraid of.
[Angrily] Leave him alone, he's never done anything wrong! It wasn't his fault that he was born that way!
Sho is a rather introverted blue onibi and would prefer to spend his time on his own or with a few choice friends. He’s insomniac due to nightmares and will fall asleep around/on people he feels comfortable with. He may come of as a bit annoyed and snappish when you first meet him but he gets more outgoing the closer he is to you.
His voice is deepish and always kind of tired.
[Kindly] If we're gonna have this conversation, we might as well be comfortable.
[Annoyed] I regret ever knowing any of you.
[Tiredly] Why did the queen choose me? I'd rather sleep..
Tamaki is a datable character and a red onibi. He's stubborn, cocky, and hot headed, but is actually really really sweet when you get to know him.
He has a mid to deep voice with a new york accent.
[Muttering to himself] I just want them to live a better life than I did...that's all. Nothing more, nothing less.
[Angrily] Will you shut up?! You've just been babbling on and on for thirty minutes now! Give someone else a chance to speak too, will ya?
[Quietly] Look, MC. I know I may not show it all the time...but I really do care about you.
A free spirited boy who goes with the flow, usually likes being in a crowd with people he knows, he's very energetic and very empathetic. You'll most likely see him hanging out with a small group of friends or making some.
He has a very anime boy esk voice that's mid-ranged, going on high.
[Excitedly] Do you think we'll be able to get ice-cream? I love ice-cream!
[Sadly] Everyone's been to scared to talk to him. I don't understand why.
[Playfully annoyed] Come on, leave me alone about it. You're no better than I am.
Blair is MC's best friend and roommate. She’s sassy, gossipy, and kind of nosy, but also really really sweet. She always has MC’s intentions and heart and really cares about him. She has a boyfriend named Justin.
Feel free to do whatever voice wise.
[Happily/Nosily] So MC, who was that guy that you were walking with earlier? I didn't recognize him.
[Concerned] Hey, are you okay, Logan? You seem kind of upset.
[Protectively/Angrily] Leave my friend alone! He never did anything to you!
The queen of all the onibi. She’s one of the only purple onibi in the world and possesses the power to change the color of other onibi. She’s very kind and caring and always thinks wisely before making decisions on behalf of the kingdom.
She has a very authoritative yet caring voice.
[Kindly] Yuuto, can you show him what we do here?
[Frustrated] Go away, Aria! We have much bigger things to deal with than your complaining!
