One Piece Movie 2 Abridged Parody
Project Overview
1. About Me:
A: Hi i'm DJ. Also known as Mushrooman on YouTube. I primarily make "comedic" reviews where I talk about and make fun of anime that I love. If you know channels like Jontron, NakeyJakey, Scott The Woz, Cinema Sins, SuperEyePatchWolf, Billiam and/or Gigguk, that's the vibe of my channel.
B: I mainly cover One Piece since that's what's doing best for me and its my favorite anime series of all time. My most popular video titled "One Second From Every Episode of One Piece (Part 1) "almost has a million views and I've had the pleasure of collaborating with a few other creators in my niche this year.

2. About The Project:
A: I'm doing an abridged series for movies 1-9 of One Piece. I've already done the 1st movie as well as two Naruto videos with my friends.
B: My main goal is to make this abridged parody for movie 2 even better by making it a bit weirder and using actual talented voice actors such as yourselves to really bring the project to life!

D: I will be working on the script during the casting process. By the time voices have been selected the script should be done or near completion.
3. Voice-Over Directions:
A: Please give me 2 takes of each line with as little background noise as possible. Each take with a different delivery B: You can do a 3rd take and change the line a bit so that it naturally flows better for you. Not necessary though.
C: Comment your discord tag. We will stay in communication via a discord server.
D: You must be comfortable with some cursing and yelling.
4. Purposely Missing Roles:
A: You'll notice some key roles are missing like "Monkey D. Luffy" and "Nami". That is because I will be playing these two roles like I did in the 1st one. Just like you, I am an aspiring voice actor and I want to improve and have fun.
B: Other roles that aren't here will (hopefully) be played by a few of my content creator friends. However, if I am unable to get them for whatever reason, those roles will be open for casting.

Character: Swordsmen and right-hand man of the Straw Hat Pirates. Zoro usually maintains a very stern, serious, and distanced personality, but often loses his temper in a goofy and exaggerated comical style
Abridged: Zoro is a laid back guy who just goes along with all the craziness that ensues. He's so serious that he's stupid.

The sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates. Usopp is cowardly. Known to constantly lie and generally seen as the comic relief of the Straw Hats as well as the weakest member of the crew. Despite his cowardly disposition, he is unselfish, compassionate, and strives to become a great pirate as well as better himself.
Abridged: Usopp is terrified of a lot of things, but at times tries to be brave. The straw hats forced him onto the crew and wants to do everything he can to leave. At times, he'll side with the villains.

The cook of the Straw Hat Pirates. Kind, calm, cool, and collected manner in which he carries himself. He is extremely amorous, constantly flirting with any attractive woman he sees.
Abridged: He is more kid friendly. Basically the 4kids version of Sanji. I'd want someone to sound as close as possible to how he talks in the 4kids version. A nasally Brooklyn accent

The main villain of the movie. The Bear King is full of himself and believes he'll become the king of the pirates. He forced the townspeople to make him weapons for him as he commands a small army. He has a thing for Nami and wants to marry her.
Abridged: He LOVES Digimon and is tired of everyone bad-mouthing the franchise. He still has a thing for Nami cause she reminds him of Sora from the original Digimon series. A stereotypical nerd but with a deep voice.

A villain pirate apart of the trump siblings. She gives off a very seductive attitude and is only loyal to whichever side is strongest. She lacks both courage and loyalty, as when her brothers are losing, she chooses to flee, rather than fight on any further
Abridged: She says very wholesome and kid friendly things in a seductive manner.
Probably won't use these lines in the actual video, but just so you can get a sense for what the character would be like. To be honest I was struggling to figure out what to do with her character.

One of the villains in the movie. A member of the Trump Card Pirates. He believes his captain is the strongest and will become the king of the pirates. He taunts Sanji for being weak and is ultimately defeated by Sanji at the end. He likes to quiz his opponents
Abridged: He's a failed game-show host. He asks people questions all the time

He is the adoptive brother of Akisu and the elder of the two "Thief Brothers". Although he can be devious, he does have a caring heart. Especially for his adoptive brother as he wants to return Akisu back to his home of clockwork island
Abridged: A straw hat fan. He admires the gang. He see's his adoptive brother as an annoying little kid who keeps up making random tales about Borodo cause he idolizes him. At one point he starts to believe in what Akisu says and thinks he can achieve anything. This back-fires hard.

Akisu's father. An inventor. He was forced to make a dangerous weapon for the Bear King. Along with his wife, he made a clock for his son. A simple man with a deep voice who doesn't talk much, but cares for his family.
Abridged: His name is Harold. He is an idiot whose obsessed with clocks. He was easily tricked by the Bear king to make a dangerous weapon. Always comes up with and says random things. He loves his wife.
Think Homer from the Simpsons or Peter from Family Guy.

A powerful pirate who inspired Luffy to become King of the pirates. Not much is known about him. In this movie he only appears as quick flashbacks of Luffys.
Abridged: He blames Luffy for causing him to get in an accident. Very loud and in constant pain.
