On the Same Page (Animated Series)
Project Overview
Hannah Beverly is a somewhat socially awkward writer in Seattle who loves to tell stories. To the point where one of her favorite pastimes is telling stories around the campfire with her friends. The problem is telling stories is easy, writing them down on paper is the hard part. No matter how many times she goes to her laptop to work on her novel, she always hits a brick wall. So her girlfriend Mackenzie suggests something that she never thought of before: Starting a Vlog series on TheyTube. And thus, "The Hannah Narrative" was born! With Hannah telling stories to entertain the web in the hopes this will help break her writer's block.
On the Same Page is a mostly-episodic slice of life series I created because I myself have had to deal with writer's block a lot, although unlike Hannah I never started a vlog series (I'm more meant for the mic and the written word than the camera)
REQUIREMENTS
- Good mic set-up, I want to bare minimum be able to clearly hear you, preferable with as minimal background noise as possible.
- Looking for kind, friendly, and easy to work with people. For reasons I'm sure you can understand.
- Maximum of 3 takes per line, no more than that please.
- Improv in recording is encouraged as I feel it'll help the dialogue feel more real when we get to recording for the series.
- Have fun!

Hannah is a storyteller with mild social anxiety who's recently become a writer. She is about as Pacific Northwest as you can get. flannel, beanies, denim jeans, etc. She's very chill though, when she's not smacking her head against her laptop on trying to figure out her novel.

[Annoyed, To Travis] For the last time, lasic scares the shit out of me, man! I don't want somebody claiming to be a professional BURNING my retinas just so I don't need glasses. If I wanted to go blind, I'd just stare at the sun.
[Staring at the ceiling, mindlessly playing her guitar] Ideas, ideas, wherefore art thou ideas? (Sighs) This book is gonna be the death of me, I swear to god...
[To Mackenzie, Teasing yet loving] (Scoffs) Another tattoo? Girl, you already look like a punk rocker from the 90s, I think you're plenty tatted as is. Maybe wait until after I get paid? Pwetty please?
On the surface, Mackenzie looks like every born on the wrong side of the tracks bad girl rebel you can think of, dyed hair, piercings, tattoos, t-shirts of rock bands, the whole shebang. When you get to know her though, she's actually a big sweetheart. She considers herself lucky to be Hannah's girlfriend as well as her camerawoman, and she knows Hannah is too.

[Opening fridge, trying to find something to eat] Oh come on. Hannah, please tell me you didn't eat the last of the nachos. (Sighs and dials her phone) James, hey! Umm so funny story-(gets hung up) Fuck.
[Tired, watching Getflix] (Yawns) Alright, time for bed- Wait...no. No no no, don't you dare end me on a cliffhanger! I already binged two seasons, don't you DARE cliffhang me, you know I'll have to sit through season 3 if you do- YOU SON OF A BITCH!
[To Hannah, Warm] You're gonna get there, Handa-bear. You always tell the best stories, and I can call up the gang if I need folks to back me up on that. (Laughs) So please don't let this get you down. You're gonna write an amazing book and everyone's gonna buy a copy. I know it. Because I believe in you. (Kisses her nose)
