Project Overview
Omori - In Summary is a one-shot 8-10 minute visual novel esque abridged summarizing a portion of the games Head Space utilizing original artwork, voice acting, and editing in-game footage to blend things together. This video is basically a one-shot love letter to the game and it's heavy storytelling.

Update #1 - Audition Appreciation and Project Updates
Hey all! So, I want to go ahead and give you guys some serious thanks so far for your auditions. The casting call has just started and already I can see some performances being a great fit!
I look forward to seeing who else hops in, but I also want to share a brief update on how I plan to go about the project.
This is a one-shot video that covers only a bit of head space and not the entirety of the game. I think depending how things played out and just how much drive I have to product another summary video in this format would really determine if I carry-on with the project.
But that in mind, I was initially planning on utilizing my tried and true method of gameplay capture, black bars, and art from my talented friend.
However, given the duration of this one-shot and some small visual hiccups I've come across along the way, I decided to flash animate the entire thing to my limited ability using the in-game sprites.
I think as a whole that'll make things easier to edit together, along with adding my usual visual gags here and there. That's all for now! Keep up the amazing auditions! :)

Mari - Age 15
The loving and very caring sister of Omori. She is practically a perfect individual who cares deeply for her friends and provides them picnics to help them through their adventures. Mari is a teenage girl who is kind and gentle and gives very good advice on how her brother and friends should go about their journey. She does show a bit of a mischievous side however, namely poking fun at Kel and Aubrey and the occasional flirting with Hero.

Omori's best friend who cares immensely for him! Basil is optimistic, although abit shy and quite humble. He can be very easy to put his trust in others and will give forgiveness to anyone that caused trouble due to his empathy. Basil will often put his friends feelings over his own and can be very sentimental about memories through the photo album that he enjoys taking photos for alongside his friends. Basil isn't a fan of conflict and will refuse to fight. (Age 12)
