Ogilvie Progress Update
Hey there! Euan here. If you're reading this, you either contributed to Ogilvie, (my Sonic audio drama project, for anyone who has no idea what this email is,) auditioned for it, or followed the project, so thank you! It's been a while since the CastingCall listing so I thought I should bring you up to speed (get it speed) a little on what's been going on.
Once I finished casting roles, I went about getting all the line readings for the project. I was truly blessed to have a wonderful and talented cast, whom I cannot thank enough. This was my first time hosting a CastingCall project, so I was honestly pretty nervous, but it was a fantastic experience and I can't wait to share the end result.
Since then I've been cutting it all together. And with something like 20 actors, it took some doing. But as of a little while back, I've officially finished an assembly cut of the project! It runs in at just over 2 hours, so God knows how much raw audio I worked with overall. It is without a doubt the largest project I've ever undertaken. That's not me bragging by the way, I just think that's hilarious. This is all hilarious.
Anyway the assembly still needed sound design and some punched up timing, which I am currently in the process of putting together. As of writing this, I've just reached the 1 hour mark. So the end is fast approaching!
