Ember Eclair wasn't always a monster-catching superhero. She was just an ordinary, modern-day girl who moved to a new town to get away from her boring life.
She gets a bit more excitement than she bargained for, however, when she finds herself mysteriously thrown into a world of magic and monsters after spending the night in her new home.
The people in the past mistake Ember for a legendary hero called the Myth Caller, who went missing recently. Why did Ember get sent to this monstrous world? Why does she look like the Myth Caller? It looks like Ember will have to fill the Myth Caller's shoes in order to find out!
This audition is to find voice over talent to play characters who will appear in fully animated cutscenes in the game.
I just got done listening to every single audition you guys posted. Woah nelly, I wish there were more roles to give out! There were a lot of good ones- but only 4 people can get a role TT^TT

The game's main villain. She isn't a particularly bad person though- she actually wants to become a rockstar and entertain the main character rather than fight against her. Unfortunately, her nature as a creature of darkness leads her to commit evil deeds against her will.
LAAADIES AND GENTLEMEN! (she looks to her "audience" of only 2 people, both women) Err... uh... just ladies, I guess... Are you ready to rock?! Because I'm ready to ROCK!
No... no! I don't want to kill them! Please! (she gives into the urge, and hates the way it feels) AAAAARGH-! I hate this... I HAAATE THIS!
Ember... please. I don't want to feel like this anymore. I don't want to hurt anyone... so please... kill me. Be the hero you were meant to be.
Naamah is a warm, folksy woman who finds Ember (the main character) passed out on the ground in the Hero's Temple. She believes that Ember is the legendary hero who went missing 2 years ago (she is not) and carries her back home. When Ember wakes up, the two have a humorous scene where Naamah naiively believes that Ember has returned to defeat the great evil destroying the world (Ember has no idea what she is talking about.)
This character only has one major scene. All other appearances are as an "extra".
Cookies are almost ready! Oh Ember, you HAVE to give us more warning if you’re going to swing by town like this! The temple is no place to sleep for the night!

Solomon is the man who trained the legendary hero many years ago; he has since retired and now owns a vaporwave-themed mall. He is laid-back, but tough on his students.

Yes, it’s true, you CANNOT be the same Ember I know. The Ember I know would NEVER call me "Solomon" instead of "MASTER" Solomon! That disrespect is worth 100 pushups! ...Which, by the way, you should start doing now.
Well slacker, the dark shaman has returned- and with the old myth caller gone, you need to step up and defeat her. You’re the closest thing we’ve got to the original Ember Eclair.
Rye is a cold, uptight businessman who HATES monsters- which is unfortunate because his coworkers are monsters! His ultimate goal is to rid the world of monsterkind forever so he can finally get some peace and quiet.
This is the game's secondary villain. He is absolutely vile.
