My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Chapter 3 Fandub
Project Overview
This project is a long-term fandub of the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Manga, meaning we will be dubbing over the manga in its entirety! This audition is for chapter 3 of the manga! We will be doing the other chapters at a later point!
About My Hero Academia: Vigilantes-
Living in a superhuman society, it's hard to feel special. Even more so when the spotlight only shines on professional heroes, those legally authorized to use their special powers known as "Quirks" in public for the greater good. Kouichi Haimawari grew up aspiring to be a hero, but with a mediocre Quirk like "sliding" that ties him to the ground, he soon came to the conclusion that he could only ever admire them from below. Despite this, Kouichi finds contentment in using his Quirk to carry out day-to-day good deeds, such as returning lost items and helping the elderly cross the street. However, Kouichi's tame life takes a swing into the turbulent when he is rescued from a back alley brawl by "Vigilante," or illegal hero, Knuckleduster. Seeing hero potential in Kouichi, Knuckleduster enlists his help in tracking down the source of a dangerous drug known as "Trigger" that boosts the user's Quirk at the expense of their rationality. Set in a time before the events of the original story, Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals follows Kouichi as he chooses to don the reputation of a villain and become a Vigilante, operating in the shadow of the law to prevent crimes from taking to the surface.
About the Director-
Hi! My name is Rae! I am 19 years old and a writer as well as an aspiring voice actor/voice director. I am a big fan of the MHA series and have been since the beginning! I really am excited to dub over this entire manga because it is by far, one of my favorites! For this project, I will be the director, casting director, script writer, and voice actor of Pop Step!. I have an editor/sound editor so I'm not cramped with things to do! I have a co-director, who you will meet if casted, and other casting directors who are helping with choosing the cast! I'm looking forward to it and good luck!
Some rules/guidelines to note before auditioning-
- -Keep in mind, this is a long-term project, so audition with knowing that!
- -Something to remember when audition: You will have to yell some lines... so please acknowledge that!
- -Having knowledge of the manga or show is preferred, but not required.
- -Lines will usually be due 1-2 weeks after the script for the chapter is posted!
- -Please be 16+!
- -Have a decent sounding mic, no background noise/a quiet recording space. The mic doesn't need to be professional... just one that doesn't echo/create lots of background noise.
- -Please do at least 2 takes per line with different delivery styles!
- -Please be easy, respectful, and professional to work with.
- -Please leave your discord in the comments of your audition! Our main point of communication will be on a discord server, so it is required to have a discord account!
- -Some of my crew will be auditioning, but I am someone who doesn't play favorites and I will cast fairly!
- -Last but not least, have fun!

As this manga does not have an anime, their is no exact voice for him. He is a middle-schooler who looks very tough. If you could please give him a medium-to-deeper pitched voice, that would be great!

Akira was only ever seen while he was under the influence of the drug Trigger. When he was seen, however, he was incredibly aggressive to essentially everything that was around him, attacking buildings and civilians. He was very confident in his abilities, believing himself to be totally indestructible and undefeatable. However, he was capable of showing some sort of sanity. He was also capable of displaying fear when he realized he was in danger.
As this manga does not have an anime, their is no exact voice for him. He is a young adult, who's 25. If you could please give him a medium-to-deeper pitched voice, that would be great! You will also need to use a raspier, deeper voice for when he turns into his bigger, tougher form.

Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi is an earnest, hardworking individual who has earned the right to be a close friend of All Might. As a detective working with the law, Naomasa is strict and does not approve of vigilantism, which despite having heroic intentions, is still illegal and therefore makes them "Villains". He is shown to take his job and the law seriously. He is also hesitant with requesting All Might for help, believing that to be taking advantage of his personal contacts and be potentially compromising in the future. Naomasa also cares a lot for his sister, Makoto. Makoto would often tease her brother and challenges authority (although not to the point of committing anything illegal), which would annoy Naomasa quite a bit. However, the two can get to the point of argument. Despite being rigid with the law and doing things by the book, Naomasa is eventually willing to trust vigilantes, and even Villains, if he knows they genuinely want to help, or can provide useful aid.
If you could sound similar to his English VA, Alejandro Saab, that would be great, but it is not required!
There's not any good clips for him online, so looking at some scenes of him throughout the anime would be ideal! He first shows up in episode 13 of season 1, so look for him there!

As I thought... discoloration around the mouth from damage to blood flow. A side effect of taking Ideo Trigger.
Laws exist for a reason. Whether they're fighting villains or not... vigilantism... is a crime.
Not much is known about Sansa's personality, other than that he is usually seen acting very professionally as a policeman, usually alongside Naomasa Tsukauchi.
If you could sound similar to his English VA, Zach Bolton, that would be great, but it is not required!

According to local police, the suspect's quirk involves hardening, superstrength, and a bit of gigantifcation.
