Project Overview
The Mortal Kombat X Comic is a series launched and published by DC Comics in association with NetherRealm Studios, serving as a prequel to its namesake game.
The storyline of the comic takes place after the events of Mortal Kombat's rebooted timeline, and follows the events of both featured characters in Mortal Kombat X and characters from Mortal Kombat's long history, showing their place in the new timeline.
IMPORTANT
This comic contains a lot of violence and blood as to be expected with the MK franchise, not as graphic as the games but still pretty gory please keep this in mind if you wish to audition, the gore will be Censored however for youtube purposes

Takeda Takahashi is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. A student of Shirai Ryu leader Hanzo Hasashi and Kenshi's son, he is both a member of the Shirai Ryu and Special Forces. He made his first appearance in the MKX comic series. Takeda, alongside Cassie Cage, Kung Jin and Jacqui Briggs are known collectively as the Kombat Kids.

General Sonya A. Blade is a soldier who was a member of Earthrealm's Special Forces unit known as Outer World Investigation Agency (OIA) in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. She now commands all operations of the Special Forces and Units, like the new Earthrealm unit, which is Cassie's team. She is one of the few original Mortal Kombat characters, debuting in the first Mortal Kombat arcade game, and was the first female character introduced in the series.
