Project Overview
Hey, hiya! Welcome to my Casting Call for a fan-cover of YTTD Musical’s Song “Meet The Cast”. I am excited to make this and maybe work on some more Covers from the musical after, if this goes well! I am gonna be voicing Sara, so she won’t be included in the Casting Call. Before starting, here are a few important details to know before you audition:
Deadline to send auditions is May 10; I’ll make my choices the day after.
Auditions can be sent to my email detailed in this doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/13Y0JEsR10PPR6pLWZhtkjyLA81Dk2Sz_YgTNfTdjaTM/edit?usp=drivesdk or here on CCC - If sent with email and it’s multiple auditions, I only accept them if it’s one file per character and all recordings are sent in one email.
Please label your audition recordings as follows: MTCC_Character_Username (example: MTCC_Sara_FireArt)
For each audition,I’d like you to sing a few lines from the song as suggested below, so that I know how you sound.
Please record in a quiet environment. So no background noise. The instrumental also shouldn’t be heard in the recording. Only your voice.
You can audition for any character, no matter age or gender.
Communication will be over Discord, so you will need to have that ;)

Everyone, listen up, I know we all feel lost and Want to find the answers but we can't yet, So let’s work with what we know Let’s start with names and occupations In this confusing situation I think it helps to ease our minds to not be stuck with strangers

Art Student - Emotional, clever and a little timid

A HIgh-school teacher - good-natured, if a little odd
I’m Kazumi Mishima I teach japanese and art If you think I look shady I won’t take it to heart

She is a singer/songwriter - seems intimidating, assertive, and "rough around the edges," but actually friendly
Reko Yabusame, visual-kei rockstar Rockin on my bongos has gotten me quite far Yeah-yeah yeah!!

Baseball-Player (Pitcher) - Commanding yet easygoing and light-hearted
Q-taro Burgerberg, maybe you’ve heard of me If yer a fan of baseball Came from an orphanage, then hit a home run! Well I’m rather a pitcher, so batter up, son!

Homemaker -Very quiet most of the time; distant and kind
I am Kai Satou A homemaker, nothing more
Spoken: No, I believe this is our first time meeting.

Elementary school student, that ends his sentences with "woof" and "meow" - trusting, optimistic
Guess I should speak now I’m Gin and I’m 12, meow! I think that I’ll trust you But I can be tough too!

Middle School Student, that refers to herself in third person -Traumatized and scared
Aaah… *sniffle. I’m Kanna…Kizuchi I’m in middle school… I was eating ice cream
Looking for artists to draw the characters that appear in the Song. Would be cool to have an original artwork for every single one of the characters.
