Marvel's The Initiative Comic Dub Part 1 - "Operation: Lightning Storm"
Project Overview
Hello everyone! My name is DK, or MasterDK, and on my primary YouTube channel, one of my main forms of content is comic dubs. Especially Marvel comics. On my channel, I wanna make it a goal to do a series of Marvel comic dubs surrounding different story arcs that took place in the 2000s. I'm also currently wrapping up production of a Civil War comic dub. For this project, I am putting together my first series of comic dubs that focus around the Initiative event in the Marvel comics, which tells the stories of multiple hero teams (and some solo stories) that take place after the Superhuman Civil War, which has changed the face of heroes and villains altogether. Part 1 will be focusing on Ms. Marvel, who works to right the wrongs she has done while siding with SHIELD in this war. If you are curious as to why specific characters who play a role in these comics aren't in this casting call, it's because they have already been cast through my previous comic dubs. RULES FOR CASTING:
1. After this dub is done, I plan on tackling comic book story arcs that take place after it. So if you are cast in a role where it says they will be returning, please make sure I can keep in contact with you, because I'll likely ask you if you'd like to reprise the role. You could be given new lines for the character soon after you finish the ones you've recorded for this project.
2. Use a decent mic when auditioning. No headphone or laptop mics. USB or XLR are preferred.
3. Please respect the roles that call for POC voice actors.
4. Please include a Discord tag with your audition so I can add you to the project server. If you don't have one or have no interest in making one, you may leave an email address.
5. Once added to the project server, please respect the rules of the server, as refusing to do so will not only get you kicked from it, but the project altogether. I won't work with anyone except those who are professional with collaborations and respectful of others.

Formerly known as Spider-Woman before Jessica Drew gained official ownership of the title. During the Superhero Civil War, she was separated from her daughter. Now full of rage, she'll do anything to get her daughter back. Looking for an emotional delivery.

Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. Former employee of AIM before the Scientist Supreme mutated him into a human computer and grew his brain. His vast intellect and lethal technology allows him to be a nearly unstoppable force. An agent of SHIELD and part of Ms. Marvel's team, Operation: Lightning Storm. Asian VA's are encouraged to audition.
Agent Sum will be returning in future comic dubs, so you will be asked to reprise the role.

I typically manage to find music for these projects, but the more I can have take part in this project the better. So please, if there's any musicians out there that make cinematic music that would fit the highs and lows of a superhero story, please audition.

I usually am the head of editing on these projects, but believe me when I say it is a hassle on top of everything else. Plus I know that my editing skills aren't always top notch. For example, I'd really like to make these into more like motion comics, to bring more life to these panels. If you'd like to help out, please let me know. I am even willing to discuss compensation if you feel it is needed.
