Project Overview
Mare in the Grass is set in a Catholic middle school. Bryce, the most popular kid in school, is sure to win the upcoming talent show with his awful poetry skills. Mikey, Stephen, and Mary are determined to stop him.

Mary is a lead role in this film, starring as the conniving 12 year old with a plan. She knows what she wants and how to get it. She is often not taken seriously because of her sweet-looking, non-threatening outward appearance.
Looking for a tween-teen girl voice with a valley girl accent (a bit of vocal fry, says "like" more often than necessary, can speak a bit fast). The voice can lean into the stereotypical cartoon teen girl voice, but not so high pitched that it sounds unrealistic.

Oh I already asked the impression kid to do an impression of an audience member.
This is a lead role. Mikey is a 12 year old boy with a temper. He is small in stature and gets defensive when teased by his best friend Stephen. Although he tries to act tough, it is clear that Mikey is harmless.
Looking for voices that can capture the voice cracks of a young teen boy. A raspy, boyish voice is also preferred.

Stephen is the 12 year old laid-back best friend of Mikey. He can be sarcastic at times, but that all goes away when talking to Mary, his ultimate crush.
Looking for voices that can capture a young teen. He is past the voice cracking stage, but hasn't quite matured into his voice yet. Feel free to incorporate stereotypically "nerdy" traits (eg. lisp, nasally, etc.).
